Slight correction: Joe Carter hit the walk off in game 6 of the World Series.
Drake never really acts hard though. He's like a lot of cats that hang in the hood/hood friends and puts association over the actual thuggery antics. I've seen the suburb kids throw signs or pop finger shots because they may chill with the hood kids but wouldn't walk the streets alone.
Drake music is great music for time around females and every couple of tracks a banger might pop up. People thinking he could get bodied by this aren't recognizing Aubrey reach and base who could give a damn unless Meek got a Summer Jam tutu picture to blast, which based off the degrassi memes may only boost his sympathy with his core audience.

You can go in hard on a track or ether someone lyrically without having to be a certified Gangbanger. Stay Scheming is one of my favorite Drake verses...i dont care about what he does in his private time ( i dont know him) , but the energy he felt when recording that one was aggressive and thats how he portrayed it. Thats what you expect from an artist.

Absolutely. I agree with you but you are still pretty much glossing over the fact that drake acts hard sometimes by giving it another name. It's an artist portraying an energy, sure. But its also definitely a human being pointing a symbolic gesture of murder.

Yo what. First of all, what lyrics do I have to pay attention to? It's not like I'm distracted by that beat that leaves a ton to be desired and puts the light right on his lyrics. Which carry nothing of worth? No quotables to care for. Some of these are even the most generic Drake subliminals. Stuff about him helping other artists and he's done with that. Has his friends back etc.
On top of that he talks about "Cops are killing people with their arms up and your main focus is tryin to harm us"? Where the fuck does that come from? Drake is the last person that can talk about the social injustices that have occurred in the past few years. Been mum about it until he brings it up in a pathetic attempt to throw Meek under the bus. That line alone fucks up an already mediocre track in my book.
Also, I'm not a Meek fan. Far from it. He's taking an L here by just standing around tweeting. So no, you don't have to be screaming at the top of your lungs to diss somebody. I never implied that, ever in my post history. This new Drake track is dope though, liking it.
