So, Drake is being accused of using ghost writers. Fuckery inside.

Goddamn.

Anyone think Drake will actaully respond in the booth? I don't think he will after this.

It's looking kind of doubtful the more I think about it. Public opinion is pretty much exclusively with Drake, so he doesn't really need to. But maybe OVOfest will get us something

Apparently there's a lot more reference tracks too. So Drake basically gets these tracks and the face to sell them. He's lucky nobody else in Hip Hop except Kanye and Jay could get away with this

I just love Meek Mill's brag about money, platinum this and that. Like dude, you're worth like 1/20th of Drake's net worth lol relax.

That line was referring to Drake..

"All I hear is.. Platinum That and Platinum This...
meanwhile I'm on the carpet with a Platinum Chick
I got a Platinum Rolly, Platinum Whip
Niggas frauds, I told the truth. Don't ask me shit"

Kanye has the producer excuse though Drake isn't a known producer like that.

Anybody worried about reference tracks ending careers must be blind to what truely sales in hip hop or who these people market to.

Track was weak, some nice jabs but Aubrey ain't loosing sleep.

People are not gonna give a fuck about the reference tracks...like seriously.

Who was taking Drake all that seriously before anyways as a lyricist?

I think it's a pretty big L for Drake but don't have much personal stake in caring about him as a lyricist. I don't listen to much Drake on purpose.

No one is saying Drake isn't going to sell. Because his fanbase doesn't care, at all, and probably even know who Meek Millz is.
But still...the streets know, breh. The streets know.

Meek chewing on peanut butter for 30 seconds and 2 minutes of sound bites don't make a track.

I never heard Meek rap before and now I never want to again.

I'm quoting you but really in reference to everyone talking about record sales... none of that shit matters in beef.

If sales were the barometer for who's "winning" in music beef then T.Swift bodies everybody with that Bad Blood track.

I don't think it will matter to the general perception. Just like it didn't really matter when Rick Ross was exposed as a CO, or it didn't matter when Eazy exposed Dre as a studio gangsta who was on a short leash with Suge. Drake's fans and the general public don't care about reference tracks. The general consensus seems to be that Meek's answer is garbage and that's what people will remember/

Meek didn't die at all. Charged up trash. Back to Back is cool but it wouldn't come back from the lab with a single trace of ether. This Meek diss is weak lyrically but we now know drake wasn't running through the 6 with any of his woes and he got pissed on in a movie theater. Meek's still alive.

Except he not.

The world won't give a shit and will still ride with Aubrey but me as a hip hop fan I think meek murked drake with that.
Bro, that was barely even a song.

He spit like 4 and 1/2 bars and played YouTube clips. You can't bump that in a ride like Takeover or Ether. It was straight trash. Back to Back was at least decent with catchy phrases.
