wait. GUYS WAIT.

Flex said he got the reference tracks from someone in Drakes camp right?

What if, when this all started because Meek heard a reference track and assumed quentin miller wrote the whole thing, and started all the beef, drake had somebody send flex those references on purpose?

I mean, I'm trying to make sense of all this. Why hasn't drake responded directly to the allegations? Why is Quentin Miller's solo single such booty if he can write on that level? I can't help but feel like Drake is schemin here. Either that or something is more true than he can face

There's no reason to send those tracks to Flex intentionally unless Drake wanted to take shots at Meek which is pretty damn pointless because it's punching down from an exposure position. There's nothing to gain from it. It also wouldn't make sense with Drake's lawyers DMCA'ing the tracks.

And there are plenty of people who have had huge careers with trash writing simply by being charismatic enough in the delivery and having great production. Drake's production is easily the strongest part of his music.

Yea this is what I'm confused about. Dudes output is eh

Hahahahahhaah to everyone anticipating a Meek Mill song.

Awful. And I am not surprised. Kendrick had the right response to this clown all along.

remember Gucci's diss track where he talks about killing Pookie Loc. now thats a diss track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ycXuQjwag4

not really comparable to this situation considering Gucci Mane is one of the scariest individuals in hiphop. he literally came into hiphop already a multimillionaire from murder, drug trafficking and other illegal shit. Drake and Meek are not Gucci. remember the rumor after the Young Jeezy beef that Gucci put a body 6 feet under behind an elementary school playground after he got run up on by a guy supposedly hired by Young Jeezy to kill Gucci? your a different individual altogether when you have stories like that pop up around you.

Jesus Christ. Meek fucking lost man. There HAD to be a better way to do this. A way to get at him for reference tracks WITHOUT being the lame clown that got destroyed by a dude that needs reference tracks.....

Drake probably isn't responding to the allegations because he doesn't feel like he has to. His fanbase doesn't care.

It's surprising to me that people DON'T believe all 3 of the following occur on Drake albums:
1) He writes his own songs.
2) He collaborates with other writers (and they are credited).
3) He has bars/verses/tracks ghostwritten.

He has also written songs, or co-written songs, with other artists.

Were people really under the mistaken belief that he was this pure MC that solely wrote everything he has put out?

If all he had was the reference tracks he should have never even gone at Drake. Thats not enough ammo to go at someone as mega over with the general public as Drake. I #wannaknow who told him this was a good idea.

Alright. Now I really feel that Drake won't respond. Everyone is fucking clowning on Meek. It'd be overkill if he did, not that I would be opposed to it.

To be fair.. he didn't even really go at Drake. The fire was stoked by Funk Flex making claims and hyping this whole thing up.. which prompted Drake to reply in 2 tracks. After that, Meek had to feel like he had no choice.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
So is just heard that Meek Mill track..... What an embarrassment. Drake shouldn't even bothered with him lol.

Denial is the first step

So calling out Drake, truthfully, for not writing the verse on RICO is taking shots? Meek didn't even speak on the other reference tracks. That came from Funk Flex. Then Flex was the one hyping up playing the references multiple times, without doing it. And Flex was the one claiming that Meek was going to drop a track and come to the station... neither of which happened until after Drake dropped both tracks.

I know a week must feel like forever in these "social media days" (at least that's what so many people keep saying) but it's only been about a week since this whole thing started. It's not hard to keep track of.

Why the ghost, though? It's can't be a "he's invisible" thing because Drake had two songs before Meek finally came out with his.

Ghost writer inference.
