Drake is at the top - hanging with dude like Yeezus and WIll, i think this is the last time Drake will respond to "lower tier" acts like Meek. Probably will take the Jay-Z approach from now. Well he probably would have ignored it, but Meek attempting to kill his career after the support he had gotten from Drake in the last years...hard to let that one slide.

Meek really tried to damage Drake reputation and career in a big way...what a fool, he should focus more on himself and not on which rapper retweets his album release. smh...

I will be shocked if Nicki doesnt dump his ass this year.

Holy shit, I never realized how much Will flows like Rakim on Summertime until I read it here and even though I probably haven't heard the song in like well over a decade, I instantly could hear it in my head. It's not just in the tone of his voice, it's totally written in a way that Rakim would write.

One person is dead following a shooting at Muzik Nightclub.

Toronto Paramedics say the call came in at 3:24 a.m.

Three patients have been transported to St. Mike's Hospital in life-threatening condition, another person showed up there in a private vehicle.

Drake was hosting his OVO Festival after party at the nightclub. No word on of the shooting is connected.

It might not be next week, next month or even next year...but something unnesary happening down the lind especially once Nicki drops Meek isnt unlikely.

As I said before, no third party will save Meek from his own failures to top Drake. If that's the case, Meek loses from having someone else fight his own battle for him. Especially since be started the entire thing.

The funniest thing about posts like yours is when you realize drake has the same "collaborator" writing credits on other people's albums.

Meek exposed that Drake got what seems like a couple hooks and a couple verses from QM for a throwaway album. Oh and the biggest single on Meeks album. This didn't make the world implode the way people like you expected cause likely most every big rapper under a label has had to do it at some point. Especially the guys who last in different eras.

But people like you who put on the tinfoil and try to now pretend that drake doesn't write anything now sound just as clueless as the people denying that the QM shit is true. Congrats?

Is having someone write melody pieces with no real lyrical work even that bad? Why not go on R&B singers for what they put out then. It seems like (from my ignorant standpoint) Drake writes his actual rap records, but the melody polices someone else may piece together.

Maybe I'm scewed, but I don't find that too terrible. I'm ignorant to most of what's actually happening though. I only know what the internet said in this regard.

I haven't been keeping up with this feud other than checkin in on this thread for the hilarity that the internet has been putting out but is it possible that all this is some kind of crazy publicity stunt. Some things just seem weird and don't add up for me

1) Meek is/was mad that Drake didn't tweet out about his album release and then takes shots at not only one of the more notable figures in hip hop but also one who helped collab with you on your single. Seems equally dumb and disrespectful

2) This dude meek is getting absolutely roasted all over the internet by the likes of porn companies, burger joints, politicians and even planned parenthood. I'm far from a hip hop connoisseur but i hardly knew who Meek was before all this happened but i knew of him. Drake obviously has his foot on Meek's throat but has this feud been so monumental that it's on mainstream america's radar where organizations that have no affiliation with hip hop are chiming in? Seems weird

3) What is Nicki's position in all of this. What i imagine is her long time friend and label mate is ethering her boyfriend. Does she not have strong affiliations to either side? Is she upset that Drake is destroying her boyfriend? Is he upset that he boyfriend started taking shots at Drake. Did she try to do anything to squash the beef before it reach this level? All these things are kind of insignificant in the grand scheme of this feud but it seems like a very peculiar position to be in yet i don't think there's been as much as a peep from her in regards to her stance on things as far as i can tell.

4) Meek Mills is signed under Rick Ross label right? but once all this started Ross goes on twitter and says that Drake is better then Mills? I don't understand this kind of fuckery. Even if this is objectively true (which the court of public opinion is pretty much ruling that it is) why would you throw your own artist under the bus like that? Again seems weird and makes no sense to me.

This whole feud has been fun to watch and created a lot of talking points for people but i can't help but feel like this feels sort of manufactured if you will

This just reconfirms how dumb Meek acted in all of this...no one saw this Beef coming and the reason for it is even dumber, thats also the main reason why the whole Internet has been shitting on Meek.

He thought and hoped he could ruins Drake career and Ja Rule him - it didnt work out like he planned and made himself look like a fool in the process. He probably expected the Momentum to be on his side once Flex dropped those reference tracks.

While thats true...Drake has also becoming bigger and bigger a fact that many people seem to forget. End potential for most new cats is what Drake achieved with his first LP.

Then again..as you said J. Cole and Drake are cool and J. Cole isnt stupid enough to start a dumb beef.
