might to late aughts (up until i wanna say 09 or so) was kind've a low point of ringtone rap/etc shit, that was kinda my point...there's gems but not many id call classic.
i really do think F&L/cool are great albums, just not my classics, you know?
Other albums I would throw on the fringe of classic alongside FnL and The Cool would be Hell Hath No Fury, The Documentary, madvillainy, Below the Heavens, TM101. It wasn't a great stretch for "classic" rap albums.
