If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
So Nicki finally was able to convince him how stupid he was acting.Good.

I don't know if that IG is real or not, but he definitely removed the diss track from soundcloud.

Dissing AR-AB was so dumb. So dumb.

While he looks bad right now... Better looking bad than having someone killed because of his earlier overreaction.

What a clown. Why would you throw some dusty street struggle rappers in the mix EVER?

Deading it is probably the only smart thing he's ever done in this beef.

I agree a lot, sure meek lost the battle but now people are booing meek while a month ago everyone was blasting his music. People seem to cheer a guy who needs a reference track for a verse as well as rap about a life style he doesn't live yet put down a person who actually lived that life style. Did Meek take an L? Definitely but when I hear the same people who thought he was hot before now saying he sucks it becomes aggravating. Kind of like a lot of sports fans who love their team when they're winning but as soon as they lost it becomes "Oh man they suck I never liked them".

The reference track stuff is bad to varying degrees depending on everyone's personal viewpoint (though Meek was bullshitting about the RICO track) but the "lifestyle" stuff is pretty bunk considering Meek's boss is a bigger phony than Drake ever will be (and tbh who cares?). And I'm not sure why people can't boo just because he's "street". They're putting down Meek because he went after someone who supported his career over seemingly nothing. And when he did finally release a track it was weak.

All that being said, I'll agree that there's some bandwagon stuff going on that made it look worse than it really was for Meek. Like the corporations and shit tweeting about it. People chiming in who don't really care either way. Luckily for Meek I think most of that will fade in the near future. Even like the booing in clubs and shit, I doubt that'll last.

Well Cry me a River.... Can't really feel sorry for a dude who makes millions and screws Nicki every day. This doesn't even have much to do with music... Just an asshole thing to to try to sabotage someone career who helped you out in the past because of a retweet.

There are people with real issues out there and Meek chose to be that ungrateful asshole by exposing how fake the guy is who he has been begging for features and retweets lol. And when the the really street goons like AR AB arrived he realized that he will be back home once his Girls Tour is over and explain to some people what he was tripping over.

If he had at least delivered a hot doss track instead of that garbage. Nope, no sympathy at all... Dude grew up with nothing and money, the girl, respect and the No. 1 album and still thought he needs to lash out. Screw him and everyone else who would act like this in the same situation.

Having said this... It would be wise if we could put an end to this and no one gets physically hurt over a retweet.

I remember that WWE had an issue with it all but I didn't think that they were the cause of it being removed.

Amazing.

Funny enough if Meek won, or if Drake sampled WWE they'd probably be fine with it... they crave that positive mainstream attention.

Hell, they'd probably try to get Drake to show up for SummerSlam if they could.

Only WWE fans knew that had anything to do with the WWE though.

Would have had no clue if it weren't for GAF.

What's pathetic about what Meek said in that?

What he said isnt pathetic at all ... in a vacuum. But when you add in the way this silly beef started and that he also deleted the post immediately after posting it ...well.

Also Drake more or less finished the beef and Meek with Back 2 Back...so yeah those Freestyles in fron of 14 year old Nicki fans wouldnt have changed that. This was a message to get AR-AB and those Philly dudes to back off.

It's too bad he didn't have that freestyle in his diss track because that would have toppled over back 2 back and charged up.

So, does Drake write his own shit or not?

Yes, he writes his own stuff in the same way Kendrick writes his own stuff. Go look at the TPAB credits and prove me wrong. Anywhoo, Drake giving someone that worked in a bakery the Willy Wonka ticket does not invalidate Drake's career. Sorry haters EAT IT. Drake gotdamn slaughtered Meek in this rap battle.

Yea...no he had 2 diss tracks which both were subpar. He just had the less subpar diss. Slaughtered is pretty much hyperbole.

Don't play this game.

Everyone who produced on any track and everyone who wrote songs that were sampled on any track on TPAB were given writer's credits. You telling me Michael Jackson gave some bars to Kendrick for King Kunta? The Isley Bros all wrote a verse for i?

Unless we hear reference tracks for Kendrick's shit come out, you cant compare Drake's situation to Kendrick's in any way.

Fuckouttahere. Every other post you make exposes your general lack of hip hop credibility breh. Rocking a Boondocks avatar like you aren't from Riverside or some shit.

Let's look at the first track on TPAB, credits wise.

Kendrick Duckworth George Clinton Steven Ellison Ronald Colson Stephen Bruner Boris Gardiner

George Clinton...nuff said.

Steven Ellison: IE Flying Lotus. Produced the song.

Ronald Colson: IE Flippa. Co-produced the song.

Stephen Bruner: IE Thundercat. Plays bass and sings the hook.

Boris Gardiner: Sample at the beginning of the song

Here's the wikipedia breh, you can literally do that for every track on the album
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Pimp_a_Butterfly#Track_listing

Take the L and stay outta the hip hop thread fam. Unless you honestly believe Michael Jackson ghostwrote King Kunta.

No. When Drake haters like Charlemange come down on Drake's side and when your own city's sports teams blare the other guy's diss track.... no that's pretty much slaughtered. Your personal review of the quality of the tracks doesn't really come into it much.

Motive doesn't matter to the outcome of the beef. If everyone clowned on Drake and The Blue Jays were playing Wanna Know with people singing along then it would be Drake who got slaughtered. The audience decides who wins.
