So Is 'Disney Plus' Worth It?

Used Disney bluray and dvd prices have tanked since it came out. I already owned all their animated movies (as well as the Star Wars movies). Cancelled mine and don't regret it.

No need to subscribe to a service when I own 75% of the library.

Unless you are obsessed with all things Disney, you'll probably run out of content to watch sooner than later.

With that said, I'm calling that Disney Plus will become a staple. The proof wasn't really needed but Mandalorian once again showed how compelling, exclusive, tv shows are the name of the game. They have already said they are wanting to grow that business. They will do so, and the price will increase.

As a simpsons fan, and fan of a lot of 90s marvel cartoons, it is for me. For now

But honestly it is my least watch streaming app.(well, maybe Prime is, but that has other benefits). After Mandalorian, I will probably not watch it for months on end.

So no, not worth it.

good thing family guy, bobs burgers and always sunny is on hulu only thing I'm really missing is having the simpsons. but they show a ton of reruns on the fx app so thats where I usually get my simpsons fix. wish they didn't take away south park from hulu either. but Hulu > disney+ for me as of right now. hope they don't become wise about moving bobs burgers to the disney app tho haha now that I think about it I use espn+ a lot for the UFC fights and I'm paying $5 for that whereas Hulu is $6. So I'm paying $11 each month, but I know that they raised the price of ESPN+ to $6 a month although since I was an existing subscriber I won't be hit with the increase for like another 10 months. So eventually its going to cost me $12 for both services and I know the bundle for all three services is $12.99 per month so its going to cost me only an extra buck a month to add Disney+ which makes Disney+ a lot more attractive I guess at the price if you only have to pay an extra buck more I guess. $12 for a full year to have access to all the simpsons episodes sounds pretty good to me.

The Star Wars library plus documentaries for imagineering the parks is worth it alone imo (also 4:3 Simpsons).

Now I'm curious, is A Straight Story on D+?
