There's a few game characters with the name. Dyne from FFVII comes to mind, as well as the Lunar Dyne. Also Datadyne from Perfect Dark. I don't know, I just thought it sounded neat.

I eventually added on to it, making "Dynendal." Dyne's a common name, apparently. So Dyne's first priority, and if I have to, Dynendal. No Dyne was taken here, though.

Despite what everybody on XBox Live and the internet thinks, my nickname has nothing to do with my work ethic. Mike is obviously my first name, but the 'Works' aspect of the moniker subscribes to the same category as 'Entertainment', 'Productions', 'Studios', etc. There are few businesses that end in Works. You see MGM Entertainment, not MGM Works. But there are a few.

When I was considering what I would name my business one day a year or two ago, I was browsing through the aforementioned titles, saw 'Works', considered 'Orlando Works'. I used that as my nickname on Something Awful for a year or so. Then I typed 'Mike Works' one day, and it just looked better.

So yeah. I have jobs, but it has nothing to do with that. And now you know.
