So yeah.. I can't start Civ IV

The last message I see on the little load up screen before it closes is 'Init audio'(after 'init XML' and 'Init File catalogue').

I have:

P4 2.53ghz
1gb ram
Radeon 9800

Anyone have a solution for this? This blows!

PS! I haven't really looked for the cd-key yet but where is it located? Not in the cd-cover, not on the front or back of the manual.

I might be able to help if you post another shot of your desktop without that civ4 startup thing in front of it.

Erm... what do video drivers have to do with somthing that crashes at the audio initialisation?!



Try updating those drivers first would be my advice (creative has a lovely auto-update nowadays)
