You'd be surprised. It's not at all uncommon. If you want 'proof' take a brief, but disturbing, look around some *shudder* fanfic sites and see how many women write gay porn based on pop culture characters called 'slash'. Probably some buffy fans on this board could back that one up. Also note the term 'fag hag.'

Anecdotal evidence is only useful if it comes from girls who actually *use/look at* porn.

in my experience, more girls like hetero porn than gay porn. Gay porn certainly does not appeal to most women, but slash fanfics and of course yaoi are a different matter. You have to understand that slash/yaoi have all of the things that appeal to women, such as romance, softcore, etc., while gay porn is hardcore man on man action targeted to gay men. For the most part it's too explicit for women, and there isn't much of a plot.

Um, since when does "gay porn" absolutely imply hardcore? If it's porn, and it's got two men doing stuff to each other, it's gay porn, period.
