Some Playstation Experience games and developers announced

So is it finally "Time" for Last Guardian?

They keep saying they are waiting for the right moment.

How much more right can it be than this?

I'm going. Not sure who else from here is.

The I will be sure to ask you all about it if that is ok? So gutted that I cannot go (UK).

But after seeing ND, Sucker Punch, SSM, Guerrilla, then I am........

Bro... Opinions how do they... Get the fuck out of here with that noise! Bring in the leaks!

Nah, I agree with him. Leaks prior to big gaming events suck ass. I want to experience those megaton moments live and in the moment, with me and the rest of the world screaming ourselves hoarse in unison. Having a big title leaked days or weeks or months (remember Project Beast?) beforehand is just unceremonious as hell. It's like opening your presents before Christmas Day.

We'll probably get something like what we saw with Uncharted 3's VGA 2010 trailer.

That was the debut trailer for Uncharted 3 was it not? They could get away with only showing us six seconds of gameplay because it was the reveal. We've known about Uncharted 4 for almost a year now, so they sure as hell have to deliver more than a few snippets of gameplay. I expect something way more substantial to be shown at the event.

Sony and 3rd party exclusives do not mix.

Well, Deep Down, but that's an exception.
Huh? In terms of Japanese Sony 3rd party Sony exclusives there are lots next year:

02/05 Bloodborne
02/19 God Eater 2 Rage Burst
02/26 Dragon Quest Heroes
02/?? Earth Defence Force 4.1
03/12 Yakuza 0
03/26 Disgaea 5
03/26 Senran Kagura Estival Versus
??/?? Neptune VII
??/?? Persona 5
??/?? One Piece Pirate Warriors 3
??/?? Y's

Knack 2 has the potential of being good.

No it doesn't the character is awful and platformers need great mascots. It woulld be a waste of millions to invest on a poorly received title by the masses in the off chance they can make it good. That's not how you do business. SWWS have created better platformers with far stronger foundations, either resurrect one of those or go back to the drawing board and make a new IP again. Anything is better than getting Knack 2.

I am expecting no more than a than a trailer with gameplay sequences flashing before our eyes...Only during the next E3 will they present an onstage demo.

I agree with this post. Actually Sony should ban Square Enix from the PS4. That will teach them messing with the most populair console! While they at it they should ban EA for that TitanFall debacle! Ubisoft for 900p gate and Activision for fuckin over Sony with their CoD exclusive deals!

Say no to backstabbers!

I like that. Old school. Nintendo-style.

Anyone else hoping for a nice surprise for the customers? It'll be the 20th birthday of the PlayStation brand. I'd love to see them commemorate it with something other than Uncharted 4 gameplay or the like.

Maybe an Uncharted 4: DLC teaser? Man that would be so amazing.

Something befitting the 20th birthday of Playstation? Frankly, only 3 things come to mind when I think of something like that :

- GT7 announcement
- Classic Sony IP getting rebooted ( I'd say Crash, but that's impossible T_T)
- PSOne/Two backward-compatibility announcement
- Something completely out-of-the-left-wing, completely irrational business decision. (like Shenmue 3 LAWL)

If they really care about the PlayStation fanbase, as they seem to in their trailers, the 20th Anniversary is the best moment to announce that they did not forget about their old IPs that made them what they're now: Crash Bandicoot, Medievil, Syphon Filter, Wipeout, Dark Cloud, The Legend of Dragoon, Parappa The Rapper and a personal addition, Kula World!
As today, this is easily the biggest fault of Sony for me. I don't like when IP get overused like Nintendo does, but I don't like when they get killed either.

I'd be cool if they give us some retro themes with old Playstation 1, 2, & 3 sounds and some Retro avatars with old playstation icons.

This sort of sucks that it's in Las Vegas, if it was in Seattle, I'd be one happy dude. I can't justify the cost to fly out to Las Vegas, the ticket of admission, hotel, and the trip back. It would be cool if Sony invaded movie theaters again so we could all be apart of the event.

Unless the keynote is going to be on par with E3/Gamescom press conference, why even bother?

And this is a convention. A movie theater, or even a 24-hour livestream will not convey the experience of a convention.

I saw this on Twitter and thought his response to this question was pretty interesting. I think this is the first time he commented on this after the LinkedIn slip up.

Dragons Dogma pleeeeeease!

lol what? Sony consoles usually have the most third party exclusives due to the Japanese third party support.

*cough* FF7 Remake *cough*

They can learn from their mistakes from the first game. Yeah I know it's not a good business decision to develop a sequel to a poorly reviewed game, but if they actually tried this time and if they're not rushing it they can make a decent game out of the sequel.

Just listened to the PS Experience segment of the latest PlayStation Blogcast: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/10/31/playstation-blogcast-141-late-to-the-pickaxe/

"Hordes of indies."

"There's gonna be activities and reveals for No Man's Sky."

"It's gonna be a big deal. This is something we're all feverishly working towards."

That's really all. No real new teases. I need more. My energy... it's draining...
Sounds good, let's see what new Indies they got on board this time.

Maybe its all one giant reveal for Playstation All Stars 2 featuring characters from each of these companies :p
This would easily be the Game of the Generation for me.

Being a full month+ out I don't want hype to get too strong yet. Way too long of a wait!

Knowing Uncharted 4 is going to have focus, knowing The Witness will be playable, knowing Bloodborne is there, knowing Ono is there, Deep Down, Galak-Z playable, Axiom Verge, etc. Man

I'm jelly as fuck at anyone who is able to go

Nice.

Ono trolling....better be good. Tho I am fine with them holding a reveal for next-years E3. Just announce Deep Down is coming to the West and that Capcom has scrapped the F2P model for a $50-60 product instead.
at this point I am not even sure they need to announce it. The last two trailers had English voice acting and it actually sounds like they paid Jeremy Irons to do some voice work.

I have a feeling Sony might lock NMS for good.

Murray seems like the type of guy who would fit right in at WWS. So seeing Hello Games becoming a part of the group is def. possible.

Then Murray can get together with ICE to work even more on these world creating / altering algorithms and see what they can do together. The future would be bright indeed for NMS.

I noticed in the blog post announcing the Playstation Experience event, Sid Shuman wrote ''I’m happy to announce our very first PlayStation Experience''.

Maybe this is going to be an annual thing going forward. So excited and my predictions reflect that.

Ready at Dawn, Imsomniac, Quantic Dream, From Software and many others don't agree.

But Sony is smart and secure them buying the IPs. So this case would be CapcomxSony, SFxPS or similar, a brand at least partially owned by Sony.

If it's SFV then it would be a timed exclusive, something I doubt specially because it wouldn't grant a big amount of sales.

Even what you say becomes true the character is still so goddamn awful! How it looks, the voice, the dance! Everything about Knack the character is a quintessential example of how you don't make a mascot.

True.

Knack as a mascot character is incredibly unappealing.

It's that nose + voice combo that just creeps me out.

Not to mention his attitude.

I agree, definitely. Everything but not Knack 2, please.

Damnnn, wish i could go to Sony-Con.

Looks like there might be some new game announcements. And all those developers! Has to be a gamer's dream to go and see and talk to the best in the business. Probably going to be some limited edition merchandise as well. So jealous.
