It's Thursday. We've been getting PlayStation Experience updates once a week for the past two weeks, on Wednesday the first week and Thursday last week. Last week's update came around 6 p.m. Eastern. Think we'll get another one today?

It doesn't necessarily mean it's another inFamous game.

Though on the other side of the court, WWS has never shied away from calling their next project a 'new IP' if it actually was a new IP.

I Wish they made a new Sly Cooper. I didn't like the 4th one as much.
I think it was just rushed to put something new on PS4 that looked good. They have a solid engine, can definitely go crazy next-game with traversal options and powers, and should have a much bigger/lively world to explore with better side-missions and quest.

If any of Sony's WWS just needs the standard sequel treatment of bigger/better/smarter, I think it's Infamous.

Knack should be scrapped for a Crash HD reboot and then a full-blown 3D game.

Does anyone know how big the studios is ?

70-80ppl iirc.
Could have expanded, or they're just developing a new inFamous.

Going by LinkedIn, they're now at 88, though we know sometimes devs don't update their LinkedIn until they get hired elsewhere/or months months later. They peaked at around 110-120 during the last few months of Second Son.

Anyway, 80-ish seems like a rational estimate. They were around that size as well during E3 2013.

there won't be a conference right?.... just panels

kinda saddened by this since that means there is a high chance of there being no new news (like new game announcements)

I was way out of the loop on this. I saw it and got briefly hyped thinking this was some sort of PSN / PS+ bonus thing in which we would get a bunch of game demos. Lol

Ok, so its a conference. Cool if you can go!

Now I want MY version of Playstation Experience with all the new release game demos.... ;)

@Memortal @yosp we are doing a keynote with some new announcements

a few announcements e3 style is definitely expected

Really starting to wonder now how much of a presence Japan will have at this thing. There's a couple of games I'd like to think will have a chance of re-emerging at a PlayStation 20th Anniversary event, but I don't want to overdose on hype when I'm trying earnestly to keep it real. With E3 you know where you stand, because it's the biggest gaming event of the year and anything goes, but this one-off show is hard to temper expectations for.

I just hope Studio Japan make a meaningful appearance in some form.

I imagine the GoW retrospective to be similar to the directors show they did in 2010, which is not a bad thing at all. I wonder if Papy will show up. Or even Stiglitz.
