Neither was I. I caught the meltdown though...yeowza.
Interesting to me how, at the end of the trailer. when Tails' tails appear, the jump sound from Sonic CD plays. Wondering if they're using that engine and wrapping it in a new graphics engine? Or is the Retro Engine the 'new' graphics engine?hahahaha

Ok SEGA. Which awards did Episode I get outside of IGN's Editor's Choice award?Following the award-winning success of Episode I, which took the world by storm in 2010,
It sold pretty decently in truth.Particularly when it gets a little shot in the arm with some promotion or some price activity, sales are quite phenomenal. Its downloaded clearly over a million units, so its sold particularly well and continues to sell.

Ugh the trailer uses that annoying Fixed Do sound at the end.
Stop it! The way the note is pronounced feels like a knife going in an ear.[/url]
Not sure what you guys expect from Sega PR. They're not gonna hype a sequel to a game and make the first one sound like shit.
It'd be pretty cool if they just included the Episode I levels (reworked with new physics and whatever) as an unlockable after you beat the game, sort of like Master Quest in OOT3D.

Yeah I was hoping you'd be able to "lock on" all the episodes to create a single game eventually. Maybe they can retrofit the new physics in Ep 1.
I think they said they had no current plans for the Classic Sonic model post-Generations.
But that would require the game to have a good artstyle, great character models, great new abilities per world, good water stages, and fun gameplay.I too will probably wait for a collection of the episodes before touching Sonic 4 (if I buy it at all). I hate buying a game broken in chunks that the episodic approach causes. Give me a "Rayman Origins"-like package.

Does SEGA need lessons how to make trailers?
Something like this is better in terms of anticipation structure: http://youtu.be/RmpIkrl-B5M

Well...here's the logo that, according to the Sega Blogs, was supposed to be revealed at the Nvidia Press Conference today at CES.
Eh, it's new.
Sonic has a pedosmile, Tails has raised his fist to punch Sonic in the eye if he tries anything funny
Well, looks like it's not going to be in the style of Classic Sonic from Generations. They already fucked up.
Even Sonic can't give the game a proper thumbs up and is telling me to get out.

I certainly agree.I don't seriously mind that much... but Sonic does look weird here. Maybe they could've kept up with their "knicking from abandoned assets" theme and recreated the Sonic 2 proto's title screen instead.
I certainly agree.
That smirk of his kind of bugged me since Sonic 4 Episode 1. It doesn't look... right.
Fuck modern sonic.
