I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but Sonic's movement is... awkward. It takes way too long for Sonic to gain momentum, so if you're expecting the same timing of movement as in the originals, you're out of luck.

This is the 360 version I'm talking about, a post E3 build. Maybe the final version is better? It being Sega... I kinda doubt it!

Man I went from being super interested in this to having no faith whatsoever. The fact that first stage is just too.. I mean, I doubt it'll bring much new in the way of Green Hill Zone. But I can get by that - cool enough to have the first area designed that way. I get it. But then to see Casino Night - a place I never want to go to again - that takes up the secondary slot. Yikes. Not sure, just doesn't look as appealing as I rather fancied it to in my head (and never looking at media until now).

Why does everyone else "get" how to make Sonic's run animation look good in 3D but Sonic Team? I love how "speedy/responsive/dynamic" Sonic's animations look in that video. The artstyle isnt the best though.
