Sutter tweets. Spoilered just in case although he really don't give anything away.

Tomorrow night. Ep. 612: YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE. War escalates in the club & family. And, as promised, NAKED JUICE. Please don't miss it.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't...

Comcast goofed. Checked the episode description for tonight's repeats and it gave away the title and description of next week's season finale

I'm not gonna lie, I fucking felt that montage. That song plus that final moment was touching. Jimmy Smits is lights out killing it.

What version of that song is it?

Damn good episode. You have to give this show credit for tying story threads together at the end of seasons.

I guess we're headed for an all out race war in season 7? Nero finding out about Juice killing the mother on Jax's order will flip him (along with everything else that's transpired).

I don't entirely get why Tara didn't follow up with Patterson. I guess she wanted to just get the boys out but not necessarily rat or give up the MC? Still, it was a dumb move on her part to not take the protection.

Jax was standing like Bane at the meet with Marks, holding his kutte with both hands. That made me chuckle.

"I love you guys." And we love you, Happy.

Also, I can't figure out why anybody on this show does business with or trusts the Sons anymore. These guys leave piles of bodies everywhere they go. :p

holy fuck that last scene. i was holding my breath, the emotionally intensity built up from the juice thing and then to that, jesus fuck I was waiting for smits to pull a gun out and do jax in rotten. he was weighing that decision extremely heavily as he walked over to the other side. he needed those few extra moments to really think about it rather than just standing on the other side.

he can't kill the main character. i was expecting him to put an uppercut on Jax when he was standing in front of him. they need to have a real full out brawl.

That sums up my feelings exactly. We shouldn't be rooting for the sons, we should be rooting for people like Tara yet here we are. Sitter has made people like Jax very likable and he always gives him an out. Oh my wife is taking my kids so I'm gonna fuck some other broad etc. they always paint what these guys do in such a positive light. The club house blew up for fuck's sake! And the kids could have died! But nope, Tera is the villain because she wants to get her kids the fuck away.

Makes no sense.

obviously, but the way it felt in that room when he walked in was intense. logically from a storytelling standpoint, couldn't do it, but it felt like he wanted to.

and why did i think this was the final season? shit feels so final.

Clay was a saint compared to Jax. Jax has been mowing people down for seasons now LOL

The gavel corrupts.

I think in the pantheon of great, dark, complex television characters, Jax Teller should have a seat at the table. He's a really cold, calculating, scary mother fucker.

The most interesting question, as raised in the AV Club review CB linked, is whether Sutter and the show will follow through on Jax's darkness. We've seen his struggles in trying to be a "good guy" in a world of shit, but since season 5 or earlier it's been clear that Jax isn't much of a good guy. Can they keep people watching if Jax is no longer as relatable?

Personally I enjoy shows like Sons without needing to identify with anyone. I just like watching everything unfold. I don't need to connect with Jax, and I've thought that despite some of his better qualities, he's a scumbag murderer. This season especially I've been hoping that Sutter would bring down some furious vengeance on the club for their role in the school shooting. He did that by proxy with the Irish bombing the clubhouse and whatnot, but in a way I don't want to see everything work out in their favor again with Patterson and the deal. I've felt since the season premiere that this is the season that the shit needs to finally come down hard on the club. It was nice when they took out Stahl and cut down their prison time, but that was because Stahl was just as awful as them in her methods.

Sutter loves his characters too much, but he's shown that he can and will kill them off or hurt them when it feels most opportune for the story he's telling. For example, instead of killing Clay when we hated him most, Sutter deconstructed Clay a bit and even got some people to feel for him...then he killed him. The interview with EW from two weeks ago had some great insight on this.

Anyway, I'm rambling and nobody will read this.

I don't understand how people see Sutter painting Tera as the villain. Jax has been getting more and more evil since the 4th season. That last scene was just supposed to signify how hard this hit jax and what will he do about it. The only person on the show who sutter has been glorifying is Gemma and that's only because everyone is feeling sorry for her.

I haven't gotten the notion at all that Tara is meant to be a villain. Her hand's been forced by everything her association with the club has brought upon her. It was her choice to come back to Jax in the beginning of the show, and she stuck around so certainly she's not innocent. To paraphrase Unser from earlier this season we understand why she did what she did, but we regret the lengths to which she went to do it.

Thanks for that, made me LOL. :D

Seriously, though, that's who Jax is. He's quite smart and incredibly brutal at the same time. He's a master planner, just like Bane, and he doesn't care how much collateral damage there is so long as he achieves his top goal.

The addition of Jimmy Smits to this show is possibly the best thing that ever happened to it. Nero has been a great character. I hate to see the guy falling apart as a result of his association with the Sons.

Anybody that associates with the Sons is fucked. This is known.

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
I'm waiting for Jax to decide the best way to get out of guns is to murder every gang member in California.

Oh Tara, what the hell are you doing? You've gone this far, take the deal! You don't stand a fucking chance on your own.

Fetishing muscular manly men in skintight hosery
What the hell is Tara even planning on doing at this point? It's not like she can get out of the country or anything.

and why did i think this was the final season? shit feels so final.

You're not the only one. I thought this was supposed to be the last season up until today.

Which, I guess is good cause there's still a LOT of lose ends.

Holy shit, what an episode.

Jax has seriously gone off the deep end...Clay, for all his faults, wasn't anywhere near as bad as Jax....fuck. Power really does corrupt. Tara's dead next episode, I think that's set in stone at this point. Not sure how she's going to come back from this or what the fuck she was thinking by not going to the feds...

Nero...what to say. All he wants is an easy life and yet he's now in too deep with SamCro, that's just not going to happen.

Also, no opening montage. THE FUCK, SUTTER? WHERE WAS MY GODDAMN OPENING MONTAGE? Hell, the one at the end was terrible...I expect better.

There had better be three next week or there'll be hell to pay...don't fuck around Sutter. I need my fix...
