- i hope Unser dies. he's such a simp.
- i cheered when Jax gave him a hot one in the neck. i was stunned when Jax gave him the other 5.
- i've been w/ Tara up until now. i don't want her to give that bullet to the police.

Sepinwall continues to grind that axe. He sounds so bitter, and every question he poses in the last paragraph is hilariously and lopsidedly loaded... But he couldn't resist publishing another article on a show he dislikes just to get some more clicks. :)

I'm a little sad Happy wasn't present last night. I'd have loved to see his reaction to Jax shooting Clay. He'd probably have smiled a bit and did that subtle nod of approval. He's in a better place, though, eating cereal and watching tv.

Now that's what I want from an episode of SOA. Excellent.

Yeah, he's such a fucking hack at times. Just what I want to read, a review from somebody who has watched episodes 1-3 and 11 of the season.

I await the Sutter rebuttal rant.

Jax's stares at Clay during all their discussions outside and inside the room were just pure cold-blooded

I liked how Tara said Clay deserved to die for killing JT, putting a hit on her, etc. When Tara mentioned JT I got the sense that Gemma deep down is scared shitless. One day Jax will find out her role in JT's death, and at this point it's hard to imagine him having any mercy. Gemma's tears weren't just of sadness for how much she went through with Clay, but of fear for what she knows is inevitable.

Man, I've been looking forward to that moment for 4 seasons now, but I felt like not understanding Jax' plan as far as the cops go really took away from the impact of Clay's death. The "wait, what's going on?" took priority over the "finally, motherfucker!" in my mind and I didn't like it. :(

I love Ron Perlman and will miss his presence in the show, but yeah, good riddance Clay. While he was once an effective foil he has overstayed his welcome for far too long. He really should've gotten taken out in season 4 or 5.

I just wanna say that Galens irish accent is the worst accent I have ever heard, the dude isn't even trying.

So far as I can see, he's actually Irish...so, I dunno what to tell you. It was legitimate. Even in the new Hyundai commercial he's in he can barely stifle it to sound American.

Pretty good episode, was totally surprised at the sudden change in plan. As usual with SOA you can't really pinpoint exactly where they'll go cause there's always some game going on in the background that we aren't privy to. I'm curious how the deal with Tara will be resolved.

I'm still wondering about Tig. For all he knows Jax sent him to his death, and even Jax was surprised to see Tig the next day. Very curious about what Tig and August discussed.

Well there you go. I take that back then .:p

Glad Clay is finally dead but I really really thought he had something planned. All that's left is for Gemma to get her just desserts. Found it funny how Nero didn't want to marry Gemma because of her history with her ex's.

Yeah Clay getting his comeuppance was great and all, but I rewound Jax shooting Galen... /AntonioBanderasGIF Not quite as glorious as Jimmy O and Agent Stahl's deaths but glorious none the less. "Good job, Jax..." KAPLOWWW!!! Stoopid smug face squid

i'm actually surprised by this

i also thought his accent was terrible

maybe he's just not a good actor lol

those squint lines on eyes are crazy

I dunno I kind of like the strange lilt. I would say he's probably not that great of an actor, though, indeed. Someone thinks he's good at the eccentric bad guy, apparently, as he continues to get typecast into that for both TV and commercials.

I've thought this show is like GTA the TV series for a while now. Just looked it up and apparently Kurt Sutter has been trying to get Rockstar to make a game based on Sons for a while now. I guess it could make a decent game (sounds like it's not likely to happen tho). Seriously the action scenes always feel like a GTA mission tho.

He's from Kerry which is in the complete opposite end of the country to Belfast and has a totally different accent. If you've ever heard Michael Fassbender talk in his natural accent that'll give you an idea as he is from Kerry too (although his accent is milder than most).

So, he's still putting on a Belfast accent in the show and while it's not great, it nowhere Titus Welliver levels of bad.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.

GTAIV: The Lost and Damned is as close to SoA as Rockstar will get.

Does the show have a 3 musical montage mandate or something? I have started counting since someone brought up in this thread a couple weeks back.

Whats up with Juice anyways? Wasn't he Clay's lackey? Is he feeling guilty that he isn't being held accountable? I missed some eps earlier this season so I'm not sure what his deal is.

What the fuck, Sutter. Where were the montages? THE MONTAGES, MAN. WHERE THE FUCK WERE THEY???? I need my fix, don't you hold out on you bastard...

Damn amazing episode though, even with the lack of montages...this is exactly what I want from an hour long episode. Use that time for something that's actually worth a damn...

Galen dead, Clay dead. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Show is definitely not going to be the same after this episode and this isn't even the finale. Can't imagine the shit that's going to go down over the next couple of episodes...Tara will surely be next to go at this point?

Fuck, I'm still in shock. I can't believe Sutter finally did it. I just can't believe it. After 4 years of teasing it, it feels surreal to finally see it happen.

Clay dies and not a single fuck was given.

I felt like Sutter was screwing with us when Tara says in the car "he should have died a long time ago" because he should have. Clay dying was like Duke Nukem Forever coming out. Who really cares when it's so overdue?

Clay was probably the only good thing about this season.

I cared, but mostly because I never, ever thought it would happen. I like that Sutter finally took that last step and killed him off and had Bobby shot in the same episode.

There's a real feeling that no-one is safe any more...Opie's death, while shocking, didn't really hit me as hard as Clay's. Mainly because it felt like Opie had long outlived his usefulness (much like Tig, who needs to die soon too), whereas it felt like Clay still had unfinished business.

Fucking finally.

He's gone! He's finally gone.

Great episode! I can't wait for the next one. I hope Tara doesn't do it, gives the bullet to the cops that is, that'll just make next season (btw, will there be one?) a long chase scene between the cops and the MC.

I kinda called that plan.

So what is Jax's plan at this point?

Have the Feds bring all the fire power to the wrong location so that the club can get Clay out clean? That's what it sounded like he was planning.

What's he gonna do after that? Have the Irish get ambushed by the Chinese while they set up Gaelin to get picked up by the Feds? I don't see this plan working out good at all as the Feds are all ready going to be pissed that they were deliberately sent to the wrong place by Jax regardless of his reasoning.

But it seems they forgot about Happy with the Chinese. How are they gonna fix that if the Irish go to August with the gun trade?

Tara better not give up the club, but Jax better tell her about the deal he already struck for him, the club and her before it's too late.

So many things going on right now that the next 2 eps are gonna be good.

I'm glad we get a break tonight. I love me some SoA but I like digesting what's happened for another week. Last two episodes will be crazy.

Watching brookyln nine nine twice in a row and pretending the second watch is a montage

Started watching this show a week or two ago and finally caught up. Shocked at Clay dying and can't wait to see what Tara is going to do.

There have been a lot of random things going with show. The homeless lady and her daughter...wtf,why? Bobby roaming the west coast was pointless. What ever happened to the Mayans...the cartel? I hated when the DA said she was getting ghetto or something. Anyone know what that black cop said to the white copy after the white noticed the change in hairstyle? School shooting seemed less and less inportant from the start. "Mommy moved away or mommy passed away" was probably my favorite line from the show. Katy Sagal has a nice voice, but some song she was singing in the middle of this season's episode 10 gave me a damn headache. Which brings up this: SO.MANY.MONTAGES. Most importantly, I HATED that "quirky" US Marshall from season 4. There's likely a whole lot of stuff I'm missing here.

Also, it amazes me how easily these guys can kill other people, but can't have simple conversations with their families. Like "hey, I'm working out a deal to keep you out of jail boo...don't do anything else. "

Nome of this probably makes any sense.

I didn't like Clay's death. I figured he'd be dying eventually, but I think he deserved better than that.

Gemma's tears weren't just of sadness for how much she went through with Clay, but of fear for what she knows is inevitable.

If Jax didn't kill Gemma when he thought she killed his unborn child, I doubt he would kill her for killing his father.
