People say Sony won't have competition but at the same time cheer about Switch about to surpass PS2
What does that even mean?

It means Sony does in fact have competitionWhat does that even mean?

Maybe just maybe stop removing games off your live sub service all the while putting shitty ones?
Because the Switch is a current console that is selling those numbers, meaning there is a high selling alternative in the console market to PlayStationHow does that mean that? Its just talking about the sales figures of a current console vs one that is like 20 odd years old.....

What? This is unacceptable, in my opinion .Power stone 1 and 2 are the arcade ports.
Powerstone 2 had way more content on the dreamcast if not mistaken…![]()
Didn't you hear? The SW2 is going to be the primary partner for 3rd party games this gen and the next. At least that's what some people are championing around here already. It's not an alternative if you wanna play games that are on PS but not on Switch. The same applies to Nintendo games not being on PS.
One has to consider that Microsoft has had an aggressive PC strategy for most of 10 years at this point, and it hasn't helped the sales of their games or their consoles, which are and were selling worse than ever even pre-Gamepass, let alone post. Europe, America, China, India, it has absolutely not helped them in any region in any way.Yet, because SIE want big growth in markets like China, where PC dominates, they probably want to continue with their PC porting strategy, but for whatever reason never just...made that a regional effort vs. pushing for global PC support?
Well, to grow or even sustain that MAU they need to sell at least 15/16 million consoles yearly.
And heading to the future, create a multi generational ecosystem between PS5/Pro, the alleged new PSP compatible with PS4/5, and PS6.
Fucking "Xbox PC," that's the cringest brand cuckhold marching orders™ ever to propagate on here. Why are you even asking this?
I log on to gaf and see mentions from you andDenchDeckard in two different threads where Sony have just announced good results and are on course to comfortably cross 100m sales for the console.
Meanwhile you guys are prepping to move to "Xbox PC". As much as you wish it were the case, we are not the same.
Yes 1 active PS5 owner is worth more than 2 non-active PS5 owners"Focusing on engagement and monthly active users rather than units sold is leading to profitability."
This is super interesting.
Yes that is how competition between platforms works. By offering "alternative" games and features you can't get elsewhere. Not by being a carbon copy with no meaningful exclusives (which was the Xbox strategy). It's not an alternative if you wanna play games that are on PS but not on Switch. The same applies to Nintendo games not being on PS.
This doesn't make sense, if next xbox is a hybrid with steam on console friendly interface, ms will be back on the game.People say Sony won't have competition but at the same time cheer about Switch about to surpass PS2.
No it won't.This doesn't make sense, if next xbox is a hybrid with steam on console friendly interface, ms will be back on the game.
Nope they still have very active PS4 owners & new PlayStation Portal owners so why only focus on PS5 sales? It's because they entered the PC space. Looks like they are echoing Microsoft.
Disagree. I see steam as pushing beyond their ecosystem with these attempts but msft could potentially build one ecosystem and dictate min specs for next gen across the industry. No it won't.
Just like Steambox and SteamDeck didn't take off.
1 active Fortnite user is worth more than 10 single player only PS5 users who buy four games a year.Yes 1 active PS5 owner is worth more than 2 non-active PS5 owners
And they're on PC and have GaaS games. The only thing they haven't echoed from Microsoft is putting their games on Xbox.Nope they still have very active PS4 owners & new PlayStation Portal owners so why only focus on PS5 sales?
Just bought Pro today, finally. That's +1 for them, 'spose.
First game I'm firing up. Was watching this comparison video... and bruh!!!Let us know what you think about the GT improvements

Shifting to active users means they want to focus on live services. So whoever keeps waiting for Sony to deliver single player games for next gen, will be waiting forever. They are stubborn to become the next Ubisoft.
