Stellar Blade has sold 1 million units on PC - 3 million total unit sales across PS5 and PC

Come on, this game has been out for some time now. You will possibly, if lucky, find 20% of Stellar Blade owners talk about something else that isn't Eve, nude mods and outfits. Zero difference between those shitty gacha titles from China, where everyone is just playing for waifus, and nothing else. The difference between SB and Automata is so massive. Yes, people been gooning on 2B for the longest time, but Automata happens to be a good game that includes a gooner bait, while SB is nothing but the gooner bait, because it's made by a mobile dev with zero experience of creating actual video games.
Automata is overrated boring af game. The game literally put me to sleep and I need to take melatonin every night to fall asleep.

Terrible take. SB is a solid action game with "gooner bait" as you say. Story & world are interesting, combat is solid, and OST is great. The game design is nothing like Genshin/Star Rail/Wuthering/Arknights

Nice try though.

I was expecting 3 million sales on PS atleast, its has 76k reviews. For a comparison point, astro bot has 50k reviews and a bit above 2 million rn

Typically you can take the number of reviews and multiply it by 30, to get a approximate number of games sold. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but it's close enough. The only problem is, I'm not sure if people that buy a physical copy can review games on PS5.

You cannot. It's lame.

Oh wow!!! I thought so. So yeah....................if a game sells very well through physical means, then the 30x multiplier doesn't work as well. Depending on how well it sells physically, you'd have to multiply it by 40x-45x instead.

Thats a steam rule as more consumers review there, for playstation its atleast 50-60 usually

I would say he's more.

In every single thread, the subject is the same, and not just on gaf. People do nothing but pretend to like its gameplay, but nobody is ever talking about its actual gameplay, like never, and no matter where you're looking. This fake ass shit is what bothers me. Admit the reason you like this slop instead bs'ing around. Like holy shit, it's cringe af. Been happening since the ps5 launch, and nothing has changed on pc.

And people aren't talking about Eve because she's a big draw. People talking about Eve beause she is the only draw to this whole $70 game. As i said in another thread, if Eve was replace by ugly ass chick made by Bioware, or it was a generic bald male, this game wouldn't have sold over 500k copies because the game has absolutely nothing going for it, way too bland and generic for anyone to care.
Thanks for doing the Lord's work mods! Too bad this wasn't a perma (yet). Literally every post since they got here is complaining about something or someone.

Great OST, Good boss battles, Solid battle system, Decent difficulty level, Nice semi open world to explore if a little lacking in events/content.

Interesting settings and serviceable story.

Stop shoving your opinions down our throats like its fact, How dare we like thing u not like.

Oh and it's refreshing to play as someone who isn't some butterface.

A success but numbers kinda low considering how good the game is. I doubt the gaming media smear campaigns and attacks on the game's creators would hurt sales would they? Maybe ppl scared of being called "gooner?"

I wish I liked it more than I did as I have an affinity for Korea having lived there for a good chunk of my childhood, but even at its' worst, I still think it's a descent enough game. I do kind of think the semi open world detracts from the experience as it turns a 12 hour game into a 30+ hour game, but I do tend to have OCD when it comes to side quests.

I think we've crested the hill in the current cultural climate were the titillation on offer did a lot more good than harm. A character action game not named DMC or Ninja Gaiden doing 4M units is a smashing success. The Bayonetta series (which, granted, is held back by two exclusives) is estimated at 6-7M units lifetime.
