To put that into perspective, that’s about one third of entire Xbox Series sales
They had a fantastic quarter all around surpassing all expectations 
and upped their forecast.
Basically as always reality is completely against the bullshit and narratives some people want desperately to push online (plummeting sales, people moving away from consoles to PC, worst generation, Sony has no games

True. Its like Sony giving handicap to its competitors with all those blunders.In consolen race, Sony could have been 2 laps ahead of everyone not just in the lead if they were as good as the Ps2 era. And I still hate Sony for porting exclusives to PC.

They are not and no competitor is doing better.
If they were people wouldn't buy the product.
Simple and clear.
It's just a narrative from trolls (completely useless as seen by the actual success) and people that are being left behind not getting what they want.
Now that Microsoft has become a third party publisher they will absorb even more people.

So, PS5 sold 75+M.
AMD reported 104+M current-gen consoles in january.
EA reported 94+M current-gen consoles back in november, when PS5 sold 65.5M units, which put Series at ~29M.
This effectively means Xbox is dead.

Right now, PS5 is trailing PS4 by only 1.5mil in sales. Which is pretty incredible given it has had little to no price cuts. At this same time in 2018, you could get a PS4 for 300$

The Switch lineup is total crap of outdated 10+ years games and Wii U updated remasters.
Where is a Zelda game on par with Ocarina and Wind Waker and not the crap they're doing now with stamina and breakable weapons?

PS4 outsold Xbone by 2 to 1
PS5 has so far outsold Series by 2.5 to 1
By the end of the generation it’ll look more like 4 to 1

PS4 was already 300 in 2016. Their record Q4 9.7 million was 2016 with the launch of ps4 slim 299 and ps4 pro 399.

Just like how The Last Of Us got remade in time for the show's first season and Part II remastered ahead of season two; how Until Dawn got remade ahead of the debut of it's film adaptation; or how Horizon: Zero Dawn's remaster was greenlit with the release of the now canceled Netflix show in mind.
