It's still awful. I bought a 750GB HD for $100 earlier this year. It wasn't compact, but that's still 11 times the space of a 64GB memory card.

a better compaison is comparing it to SD card prices, since high density HDDs are cheap to produce.

EDIT: not saying that to defend sony's pricing, since SD cards are still way fucking cheaper than the vita cards.

Don't forget inVizimals coming which is also appealing to kids and the originals were a hit in Europe. They should also bring red and blue Vita to US and Europe and kids prefer more color choices.

Hopefully huge memory price cuts. I sold my 32gb card because I haven't played my vita in months but I would kind of like another so I can replay a couple of games and be ready for Killzone.

Is it safe to swap memory cards on vita now? Remembers bubble layout, backgrounds etc? I already have a 32GB card so I'd prefer to pick up another one of those for less, rather than jump up to a 64GB

It would still be like double the price you could get a 64GB micro SD card for which is still too much IMO. The main reason I don't use my Vita is because I need memory to play my games and the prices are ridiculous.

8GB is most likely (especially if they dump the 4GB card) for a bundle. It's not small enough to deter people from buying digital versions, and it's not large enough to deter people from buying a larger memory card.

This seems very vague. Impressed is a relative term. Maybe your source is expecting you to be impressed with the new builds to Killzone/Knack/Driveclub? The only way you could question them is if you specifically told them the only way you would be impressed is if new titles would be shown.

I kind of gathered as much, but, there are times when it is good to let someone know what they are trying to do is appreciated. It's very easy to take it for granted, and stomp on someone trying to do something positive.

I knew no one meant anything negative, and figured no one was offended. I also don't take anything which can change as gospel, an different people hear different things from different places. Some will have greater accuracy than others, some none at all, and some things will change from the time they are said.

I'm just speaking for myself of course.
