Yes. Yes. Y-E-S.Feep said:Just watched, incredible episode. In my top 5 SP of all time, easily. Top 3, probably.

None of it was forced, all of it was planned.squicken said:Brilliant episode. I wonder how much of the censoring was forced and how much was planned.

Edit: I seriously can't believe how many people think that the censoring was forced. Are you people fucking serious? I could see if MAYBE you thought the censoring was forced for the first half of the episode, but once they got to the "what I learned today" where EVERYTHING was censored, then you knew for SURE that it was part of the joke. Because it was obvious that the "what I learned today" part was censored on purpose, and the only reason why that was funny was because there was so much censoring going on in the first place.
If you REALLY still think the censoring was forced, then wait until they rerun last week's episode and see if they have to censor it this time.
Shit, you people are stupid. =P

That always seemed to be the point. All of the steps they took to make Mohammed not appear made the people wailing about his depiction look weaker and weaker with each progressive step they took to censor things even further.SoulPlaya said:Did they seriously censor out Mohammed? Man, that's just pathetic.

Not that I'm convinced it's true. I highly doubt CC would have them bleep out the message at the end, though...who knows, these days.

Agreed. The message at the end had to have been staged, simply because of Stan's hilarious "Yeah" right after. And that whole bleeping joke wouldn't have worked if they didn't bleep Muhammad.
I still call bullshit. The episode Super Best Friends is still available to watch. That contains an image and the verbal name "Muhammad" in it. This is a publicity stunt or something.
The only way I could see it being legit censorship is if Matt and Trey got word early on during the week that they had to censor the name Muhammad, then they altered the episode to include some jokes about it, like the over-censored speeches at the end. Otherwise, I'm still calling bullshit.
Or maybe they did this so people on forums would fight about it.
