Yeah, they made a point of it to have almost every character say "Muhammed" in 200, with the exception of a few (so it made for a few humorous cuts ala the "chef" episode).. but for the most part it turned out great.


edit: also, my ending speeches turned out awesome :D you guys should love it.

"After "201" aired, "Super Best Friends" was removed from the site and replaced with an apology that South Park Studios could no longer stream this episode.

The "Super Best Friends" episode was available to watch Instantly Online on Netflix as recently as Thursday, April 22, 2010 however, as of Friday, April 23, 2010 the episode is only available "On Disc" meaning Netflix subscribers who wish to watch the episode will have to have Disc 1 of the Season Five DVD mailed to them.
As of Friday, April 23, 2010 the "Super Best Friends", "200", and "201" episodes of South Park are no longer being sold on iTunes nor on Amazon Video on Demand."

Better buy the season five boxset before Comedy Central rereleases it without Super Best Friends.

WOW! If you have the time and passion, I say go for it. I might just be paranoid but I'd keep the project on the quiet for now though. You don't want it spreading far that a fan is doing this as it could get you shut down before you can get this out

Well, for the scene posted above, the audio took no time at all (I finished that rather quickly). the biggest challenge will be rebuilding and masking the set pieces where the CENSORED bar is, that takes the most time.

Now that I've got a mohammed analogue rebuilt (I can make him do almost anything, now), it won't be AS time consuming.

The other problem is, as people have mentioned, I don't want harm coming to anyone or anywhere by doing this. Is it REALLY worth doing the entire 40 minutes, or should I leave it at this?

I'm willing to do the whole thing (it may take a while as I do have a life!) but I don't want to be a terror target, either. lol

I just saw a commercial on Comedy Central saying that they're airing Team America-from the creators of South Park-uncensored next followed by a commercial where they proclaim this season of South Park has the biggest balls yet (without any footage from 200/201).

I don't know if the Xbox Live people add south park episodes late or not, but I checked the south park episodes on XBLA and they only have up to the medicinal fried chicken one on season 14.

I hope they never pulled both the 200 episodes off Xbox Live

And I think it would be awesome if you could finish uncensoring the episode...it could become a viral sensation. Amazing work on the sample scene!

Also how are you figuring out what the backgrounds are behind the censor bar? I have no idea how visual effects people do this stuff!

This is great, I wonder if there's an easy way to let Matt and Trey know the fans are behind them on this and that all the censorship is bullshit.

That was awesome.

The episode was so awesome but knowing that none of the bleeps, especially the one at the end, weren't suppose to be there ruins it for me in a way. The Killing Joke reference was good as well as the Tom Cruise jokes.
