What is strange about this, is that it appears that Matt and Trey did not want the censorship in that episode, and the censorship is kind of what makes it so funny. From the extended bleeps to the giant black bars with the word censored on them. Almost as if they sent the episode off knowing exactly what would happen, and the result would be more funny then simply having it play as is. It is hard to tell. But if they do indeed have a beef with what Comedy Central did, then I imagine that the next episode is going to be them fucking with Comedy Central to a level that we have never seen before. I cannot wait.

Is there a link to the John Stewart comments yet?

This whole censorship thing is unbelievable. It'll be crazy if 200, and 201 become sort of Lost Episodes of something. In 20 years, they might just be urban legends.

In 40 years, if you speak of 201, you get the CHAIR.

They had no choice, they basically give the ready episode to CC and it's them who added the censorship, Matt and Trey had no word about it. Going by what they've said they didn't even know about additional censorship until the episode aired. It happened in the past in episode Cartoon Wars Part II.

BTW, could anyone be kind enough to add Mohammed in some way to my current avatar? I know I already have a fad avatar, but if anyone could add for example Mohammed peeping from behind Cloyster, or a gif with Mohammed showing up I'd be glad. I love South Park and current events simply disgust me :x

Not 100% sure on this, but I would think that if CC censored that scene in Cartoon Wars part II, it just would have been a blank screen or something. The fact that there was the additional commentary, "Comedy Central refuses to air an image of Mohammad on their network" makes me think M&T put that in from the beginning since they knew CC wasn't going to allow it anyway.

I doubt CC would add that additional text in to make themselves look worse off than they already did.

I believe it was something like Comedy Central said that they had to change the scene or they would just censor it. So M&T put that message there.

Maybe, I don't remember how exactly it has happened but I do remember that they originally planed to show Mohammed in Cartoon Wars.

PS. Thanks Jak140, though I still have to decide which version to use :)

The original Willzyx shot was previously my favorite single South Park image and this has now replaced it. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a call-back more than this.

Seriously, what an amazing episode. Best fan service episode ever.
