I was bored so I decided to start this new thread. It's a thread for anyone to post pics of their special game collections - not your whole collection like previous threads, but pics of special collections that focus on a specific aspect, whether it be a collection of books, a series of games, different versions of the same system, action figures, whatever. Just not your whole general collection. With that in mind, I decided to do my complete BioHazard collection... (note: I couldn't have completed my collection without the help of jonnyram, DCharlie, and Defensor. Thanks to them. DCharlie founds Bio3 on the DC, and jonnyram bidded on BH2 on N64 for me. Defensor will soon send a BH2 controller. :D))

Isn't there a stage you go through, where you realise you're a completist, but there are obviously some BAD games that you will never play or complete, but you have to spend money on, simply to complete your collection?

you fail for not having the pal version of re4.

It's a BioHazard collection. :P

Yep. Went through it right after I completed it. Oh well, this is the only thing I'm completist about. My bad game in that whole set would have to be Biohazard Gaiden, but that was $5 new so no biggie.

Nice collection. Too bad I don't take good care of the boxes of my games. I've got a number of supposedly rare games in my collection (Suikoden II, Valkyrie Profile, Panzer Dragoon Saga, etc.).

I own the briefcase but it's in the closet. I'll take pictures in the morning...

The briefcase contains BH, BH2DC, and BH3, along with the regular CV. They're in the case, but I took a picture of the cover instead of the binder. I'll add the binder and the case later.

Wow, are you trying to collect the RE's too, or just Biohazard?

Nice Sonic collection Rlan, I didn't even realize there were so many.

Neither of mine are nearly as impressive, and I'm still missing quite a few titles from both series, but not as many DQ's.

Man, why do you have to go ahead and remind us that we're mortal?

Speak for you...

Fennec, your collection rocks, I would love to have something like that (so many magazines to the trash in this years :() Unfortunately, my space has been always quite limited.

Sad truth: 100 years from now (or whenever), your grave isn't likely to make any mention of this.

Well, you alway can ask to bring all your games to your grave, like ancient egyptians, to have something interesting to do in the other life (because you know you are not going to survive in heaven just playing religious game).

Oh and here are some of my fav import Saturn games (got a lot more but these are the ones I play all the time).

What Super Famicom game is that tucked between the first Saturn stack?

Also, what are those blue and red cd's of Suikoden 2?

That is a memory cart (the 4meg ram cart in in my Saturn now).

The Suikoden 2 cds are OSTs

Of course, that pic was six months ago. Now the collection overflows the bookshelves and occupies a few boxes in the closet. I need to get rid of some Famitsus.

At first, I thought I couldn't hold a candle to this, because there's no one series I care about that much. I have all three Toejam & Earl games but that's about it. What I collect is classical sheet music... I know music libraries that don't have as much sheet music as I do. I'll take pictures when I get home from my lesson.

Well this was cool until they released more and I fell out of the loop of keeping up with them....

I just don't have anything else handy offhand that I could pull together at the moment.

Most impressive. I wish I had something even close to resembling that ensemble of awesomeness.

My Time Crisis/Guncon collection:

I have these too:

But as you can see, they are not the Guncon boxsets... yet. That would add one more Guncon1 and two more Guncon2's.

I'm still missing the Guncon set of Time Crisis: Project Titan, JPN Gun Survivor 3, and JPN Gun Survivor 4. Although I do have each of those games without the gunbox sets :-(

You mind selling one of your old orange guncon2's =P Cant even find them around town for cheap. Yet look at you mr guncon. Nice collections. I need to buy Crisis Zone and Gunvari collection someday. I cant even find Gunvari anymore.

Why does anyone need more than 2? But there's nothing wrong with that of course.

So I'm assuming the orange one is the US version?

I have 5

2 copies of Time Crisis 2 (for system link)
1 copy of Vampire Night (1 of the TC2 GC2s broke, this was a replacement)
2 copies of Time Crisis 3 (for system link)

By the time I was buying TC3, I was irritated enough with 2 previous GC2 failures, that I bought the With-Gun copies for security.

Luckily, one failure was purely electrical and one was purely mechanical, so I made one working Guncon 2 out of them. So I gues I only have 4 working GC2s, and at least one of them hasn't been used. They do develop looser pull with play.

I never was a collector. I've just become one after purchasing so many games in such a short period of time. As such, I don't have anything you could call a complete collection...

Well, except for Shaq Fu.

3b8d8hq.jpg

About a year ago, while on a trip to the Great White North, I stopped into a pawn shop, and spotted a pristine copy of Shaq Fu for the SNES. My initial reaction was "WTF :lol " and subsequently "Why the hell not" as I handed the man some of my wacky Canadian money.

I got home to South Florida, and within a week, Shaq was drafted to the Miami Heat.

It was a sign from God.

I went hunting on eBay and scored a sealed copy of the Genesis version and the Game Boy version seen in the picture above (I need to take a new picture sometime soon). A few months later, I replaced the SNES copy with a sealed one also found on eBay.

Now, all I need to do, is buy a ticket to something like a Heat vs. Clippers game, and pounce on Shaq with an armful of Delphine Death and have him sign.

But, I think I need the Game Gear version I keep hearing stories about. I've never seen it sold anywhere, and trust me I've looked. So, with that in mind, I call upon you, the almight GAFmind. If anyone can positively confirm or deny the existence of a Game Gear version of Shaq Fu, you will have my utmost gratitude, and I'll do my best to not only get my collection signed, but to get a Polaroid of me and Shaq with the goods commerating the event. That precious photo will be your prize. :D

Here's all the SNK, Neo-Geo, Neo-Geo Pocket, and related titles (ports, third party titles originally released on the Neo-Geo, etc.) that I currently own:

EDIT: I just realized that I left out SvC Chaos for Xbox and Garoudensetsu Wild Ambition for PSX. :)

Capcom stuff next. I left out a few games out that they hand in developing, like Gundam Federation Vs. Zeon and the GBC Zelda games; this is anything with the name Capcom on the box. Not pictured are all the controllers, toys, and other collectables that I have. Had to leave outl the Genesis and Sega CD Capcom stuff too, since I just sold all that.
