Still think the absolute best case scenario is that this investigation plays out over the next 1-2 yrs and more and more details continue to steadily trickle out leading up to the midterm elections.

The only way Trump would get impeached is with a Democrat-controlled Congress.

To do that he'd have to fire Rosenstein, then fire everyone in the chain of command until he finds someone who would do it for him.

Here's a Wired article about Mueller's assembled team, which includes names that should scare Trump and anyone associated with him (particularly business partners), and goes in depth on one former FBI agent's history, including a time he and his partner wound up going undercover as immigration officiasl in South Africa in order to catch a terrorist suspect.

The one that should spook Trump the most however is the expert on money laundering cases, Lisa Page, who has even overseen cases into Eastern European crooks' money laundering specifically, including one connected to Paul Manafort in Ukraine.

There is little evidence Mueller could provide that would be more convincing that Trump obstructed justice than Trump firing half the DOJ to fire Mueller. If the GOP Congress doesn't impeach after that, then nothing Mueller would have presented would have done the job either.

There is literally no outcome of this investigation after which people like Hannity will change their tune. It will always be the work of some corrupt shadow organization, not the fact that Trump is a bold-faced criminal.

Hannity and his audience have a disgusting and codependent relationship. As such, the only way he'll ever alter his rhetoric is if his audience is fed up with Trump. Then it'll be a sudden and dramatic shift once he finds a new icon to fellate.

I only wish that Comey had announced the president wasn't currently under investigation so that would have a duty to correct that now.

They'll bring back "Deep State" as the word of the week. That term didn't really have staying power as a term like Death Panel.

Would be hilarious if he gets impeached for obstruction then Mueller comes in and files charges against him involving the Russian meddling as a normal citizen.
