Thunderball was male as well. As was From Russia With Love, A View to a Kill, Living Daylights, Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace. You can kind of count On Her Majesty's Secret Service as well.

Updated OP with previous Bond Songs for those who aren't familiar. Should be available to pre-order on itunes now as it's past midnight in the UK but official release 25th September. Should leak or be available to stream beforehand IIRC they did that with Skyfall last time releasing a lyric video before the actual song release.

I don't like Sam Smith, but that's not the main issue I have -
NAME THE SONG AFTER THE MOVIE DAMMIT!

Shit be the worst trend in modern Bond films.

It all begins
James Bond back again
Daniel Craig's in a bend
World's most attractive man

For it all begins
I got this job from a Godsend
I know it sounds like a blend
Stolen from Adele, again...

Fight the SPECTRE:
Blofeld's collectors...
Be the protector
Of us all,
From the defector
Of SPECTRE

Fight the SPECTRE:
Blofeld's collectors...
Be the protector
Of us all,
From the defector
Of SPECTRE

That SPECTRE

SPECTRE is where we go
From Blofeld to Dr. No
Starring Lea Seydoux
The credits start the show
Sony rolls in the dough

Casino Royale had Hannibal Lecter
But this is the SPECTREEEEE

Fight the SPECTRE:
Blofeld's collectors...
Be the protector
Of us all,
From the defector
Of SPECTRE

BLAH BLAH BLAH SPECTRE BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

Oooh~

How do you guys not know who Sam Smith is? He has that famous song "Stay with me" that is a ripoff of the Tom Petty song "I won't back down" and now Tom Petty gets royalties for it.

Chorus lyrics are out!

Writing's on the wall,
When it crumbles,
We will stand tall,
Face it all together

Writing's on the wall,
When it crumbles,
We will stand tall,
Face it all together
At wordwall,
At wordwall

Is this real?

It's almost like a joke how cliched and similar it looks like skyfall.

OMFG, those lyrics + that reply made me spit my drink out

They should totally have Wordwall in the movie

Does anybody else like the Tomorrow Never Dies theme? I think it's the most surprisingly good theme, but I'm sure I'm alone in this opinion.

It's okay, but Surrender - KD Lang is way better. That was originally intended to be the main theme (it's still an end credits song), but they changed it at the last minute. The opening titles even sync up perfectly.

It's decent, but by-the-numbers stuff. The only thing I don't really like is the final chorus, where Crow sings 'until that day' with the 'til' being forced to a higher note to create some kind of climax, but as Altazor says, her voice lacks the power to pull it off.

Its the best of the Brosnan themes for sure.
I'm a huge Garbage fan so totally biased, but The World is Not Enough is still one of my favourite Bond tracks.
Nahhh brehs. GoldenEye has the best song of the Brosnan era easily. Great production and Turner absolutely smashes the vocal.

Crow's Tomorrow Never Dies theme is actually better than KD Lang's. Both are good but KD Lang trades in Bond theme cliches where Crow adds something real new and fresh and surprisingly raw. It's one of my faves.

Already forgot about Die Another Day?

EDIT: Upon relistening the song... why the hell does Madonna randomly insert "Sigmund Freud, analyze this" in the lyrics? It makes no sense at all.

i'm gonna unfoil the cliche
i'm gonna suspend my suspenses
i'm gonna delay my pleasure
i'm gonna close my body now

i think it is sufficiently corny enough to be a james bond song. not to mention the movie it was for lol

The inclusion of Die Another Day in the movie's credit sequence was quite brilliant, I thought. As Bond was being tortured at the hands of the North Koreans, so too was the audience being tormented by Madonna's song. It was a brilliant bit of audience participation /identification.

The first 30-45min of Die Another Day were great. So promising. Then everything went to shit.

Ugh...
