Yeah, but he is definitely arrogant as Razmos said :P

Anyways, I haven't met any weapon that I thought was OP yet, although I do hate the freaking inkstrike on ranked.

Sure, but his attitude is unnecessary. Just saying "you need to git gud" "you are playing crap" doesn't help anyone, it just sounds like mocking.

Fair enough at the arrogance. Isn't he is a charger user, lol. His outlook on matchups are different I guess.

gaf i'm beginning to fucking hate the mall

It sucks honestly.

lol at blaming lack of skill for the Aerosprays. Did you see how easily you can get 1000+ points on Turf War? Even losing you can easily do that.

Yeah you can easily rack up points. That's pretty much all they're good for.

What people need to understand that the player with most points isn't necessarily the most valuable player. There are so many actions that don't give you points. Be it killing enemy players, making spawn points, acting as a spawn point of your own, using various sub weapons, using specials like echolocator etc. etc. Most important is of course protecting your own turf which gives you next to nothing if you do it right. The funny thing about Aerosprays is that it really seems like people in general have started believing that they have some fundamental advantage at this point in the game. I guess it's about how quickly they can get points. This of course leads more people believing that Aerospray is good because they encounter other Aerosprays. In comparision to there being more users with higher range weapons.

Well according to you the most effective way to stop them is using a charger, what happens if nobody in my team has one??

I'm so unlucky with weapon loadouts, thing is I play long range assault rifle so I'm dependent on others to bring rollers/snipers.

That's a big problem with the game. People prefer certain weapons which lead to unbalanced teams. In this way I'm looking forward to being able to team up with friends. That said have you tried using your sub weapon? Bombs especially I find really annoying.

WTF man! I didn't know the vibe meter reset when the maps cycle. I missed my opportunity to cash in on my +11.5 vibe meter(about 9 of those wins were straight!).

Was going in with the splatter shot jr last night. I intentionally avoided using it in turf wars since having the game(barring one initial trial) after seeing/hearing how beasty it is, especially with that 'god-mode' bubble. I also wanted to get better with a wide range of weapons, but I got tired of getting tooled last night. After losing a ton of games, I switched. It was pretty much all wins from there. Well, there go my hope of becoming skilled at a wide range of weapons...

And then it will be boring.

As it stands now "OP weapons" can be countered with some other op weapons.
Also people need to learn to adapt and change their tactics. I've seen way too many times people, even gaffers, being killed the same way over and over and over apparently hoping this time they'd be lucky.
No. approach from somewhere else, approach it differently.
Yeah, the game does require adaptation and some innate understanding of map control. I really like how this isn't "baby's first shooter", and that it rewards skill.

I forgot to tell my Nintendo ID when i created my account on my Wii u friend yesterday : Chaoss17

I hope to meet you soon in game ₍ᐢ•ﻌ•ᐢ₎*・゚。

This is only partially true. The team with the most turf covered can put on the pressure unlike the team without much turf covered. The Aerosprays can easily get that all covered and do well in close quarters combat which is what typically happens in the beginning of a match.

The mode is called Turf War. Where you cover turf. The team with the most turf wins. Aerosprays covers turf the best pretty easily. Of course a team with all Aerosprays will most likely lose since a varied team is better.

Going through single player mode wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for having to "uncover" the portals that lead you to the levels. Whose idea was that? I freaking hate it. Just let me pick the level, Super Mario 3D World style.

welcome to the club

Here's a good strat for Mall as a charger:

That red circle is where you'll be spending most of the time. Protecting your flank (marked with an orange cone) is easy because it's just a long corridor. You can even use the bush marked with green for some very stealthy and surprising kills. Of course the main deal here is a good coverage on the middle section (marked with blue). As long as you keep hitting your marks you can control the game like this. Also you're in a very good spot for your teammates to spawn to. I usually put a sprinkler on the little "booth" on the middle platform.

It's a good weapon. Just not what I consider OP.

For those who have the game: How does the dynamo roller work? In the direct they said it could deflect projectiles, but I havent seen this yet.

That was one of my favorite parts
Most of the time it's fairly obvious, sadly. We need new levels harder to find!

For the SP I just searched all the portals first, it's fun. Once you uncover them, you can instantly jump to them by touching the points on the touchscreen.

THREE OUT OF FOUR ENCOUNTERS END IN DOUBLE SPLATS

GIVE ME FUCKING REGIONAL MATCHMAKING THIS ISNT FUN FOR ANYONE

You can tell a Japanese player before you even see their name. Double splat and/or bullet sponges. It's bad, it's really fucking bad. There are do many things that annoy me with this game and none of them have to do with the gameplay itself.

So how do you cash in on win streaks? Talk to the spikey haired guy? I had a 16.5 streak and did that and he said something like 'woah dude awesome check back with me tomorrow'

thanks Sendou, much appreciated. My main issue on this map is that I use the Squiffer and get outranged by every other sniper. I pretty much have to sneak up to the snipers somehow to take them out. The red circle/orange triangle is my preferred spot but I can only cover the middle, the other side is out of range. Other snipers are a really big problem for me, made worse by the lag

oh and I had never considered using the bush in the corridor for ambushes, lol

Just bought and played this yesterday:

Very fun game and only one real thing to mention:

The Roller is OP. I can tell this by how a good chunk of the other players have them plus one hit your dead.

Oh and the 2 maps rotation thing is very lame. I can kind of understand why they have it but the same 2 maps over and over is lame. Maybe make it 3 maps atleast?

BTW is there a way to play on the gamepad screen?

Do the clothing abilities stay with your character once you unlock them? Or if you change clothes you lose the effect?

The bush is so good. It also elevates you a bit so you can catch people that are running towards you from the upper platform. I found they are a bit hard to hit otherwise.

So you're saying I should pretend to flank you in the corridor then run back to the middle to actually flank you from the middle.

Sounds reasonable.

Actually that relates to my biggest problem so far which is attacking people in corners. It's the reason why Urchin Underpass is so hard to retake the middle once lost because there's all these sharp corners coming out from your own area.

1. When you will learn to kill them, they will become free kills most of the time
2. There is a place in the UI for a third maps so we all hope they will put a third map.
3. There is no off screen option for solo mode only for versus.
4. Second option.

GAF > Japan

you know what's really evil? Seeker + Ninja Squid. That was a surprise

Already seens some people using that even without ninja squid. Is a great way to get your ink back and appear next to the enemy.
Although I already no the trick and pretty cautious everytime i see one of those mines running through the floor so they dont get me.

I feel like most of the time when I take a splat from a roller, it is usually because I accidentally got too close and they ran me over without knowing I was in front of them.

They really are a pain. They tend to sneak up on you in the worst spots, plus that god damn Kraken. The idiots that roll right at you are simple of course.

I'm getting close to level 10 now, will it be worth it to try out splat zones as soon as I can or wait and level up more after 10?

jesus christ if you rank down it drops you 30 points as a buffer too! FUCK

DOWN TO C+

FUCK IT ALL THIS GAME IS TRASH

*starts up ranked mode again*

oh lord, here we go again haha

Rollers are op for every new player. It is just the way of squidlife.

Ranked is really for the hardcore player.
- Win get money and points, lose get nothing
- Rank up get the 30 point buffer, rank down get the 30 point debuffer(?)

Lol, I love this mode. If you aint up to the task, stay in turfwar. This is for the real squids.
