I got a really satisfying kill on Blackbelly Skatepark, a guy with a roller was about to hit me and I sort of squid-backflipped over a fence behind me, then shot him with my charger as he tried to get around to me.

For only a three minute game, it's incredible how fast the momentum can swing one way or the other. Had a game earlier in which the other team had painted all the way to our spawn, and we came back and won by like 20%.

There is a friend list on the Wii U, it is on the main screen when you boot the system. You can add other people's nnids there.

As a charger, I realized that my priority is to take out any enemy inkling that has their special stored asap.

What exactly does the sprinkler do? Just damage people stupid enough to go underneath it or is there more to it?.

It covers a lot of ground over time. You really want to destroy them, maybe not asap, but dont forget about them

Bestbuy had one 3 pack of the amiibos left and she wasn't sure if it was for a preorder. She said I could have it but I just gave her my name and phone number, I didn't want her to get in trouble or have someone's preorder taken from them.

When I try to launch the game (from the disc) it sits at the loading screen with a sick drum beat for ever. What gives? I left it for over an hour thinking it was just updating and the Wii U shut off, I assume because the power off setting. I tried it again and waited 15 mins and still nothing.

Tried ejecting and putting the disc back in. Putting in a different game (worked fine). Manually checking for software update and for a system update, none were found. Launching the game just sits at the room graphic with the drum beat and have to hard reset it. Totally soft lucks. Bummer.

Hard reset, went into data management and deleted a 32 MB Splatoon file. Now when I launch it it gets past the loading screen and says the disc might be dirty. Take the disc out and it looks brand new. Guess I'll reach out to Amazon.

The fast matchmaking is like crack. You don't even have a chance to think about taking a break cause it puts you in a new game so fast.

Sure, that sounds good, but it plays havoc with my Squid Jump.

I'm currently using the kelp charger. I like the sprinkler a good deal since it can act as a sort of 5th player.

And no there's no off screen mode at all, which is annoying as Single-player mode doesn't even use the pad.

Can't you put Frozen on the PC instead ?
And unfortunally there isn't any off tv option for Splatoon

I got to play the first 3 chapters of single player including the boss fight. I died twice I think. Once because one of the octarians threw an ink grenade and I forgot to run. And the second was from the boss flattening me lol
It was fun. I found 3 out of 4 scrolls so far. Can't find it on the second stage.

One of the cool little details I found was for the stores and where you can quickly switch between all 4 of them with L/R or ZR/ZL whatever. I found it funny how when you switched between them with this method the store owners were all disoriented because of the room switching on them haha. Its the little things like Annie adjusting her glasses after the switch that I enjoy.
What I hope they do with this area is have an update where it changes with the seasons. Can you imagine if they have a month or two where its switched to a holiday setting with snow and trees and other holiday decorations? I hope they do that, it'd be awesome.

Multiplayer
First match I tried to jump into cure's match but I got an error and had to leave. But not before I inked cure haha
Other than that match and another one a couple after, I did not have any problems connecting.
Matches were fun. I lost 2-3 so far but won maybe 7 I think. I can usually stay in the top two score wise for my team. I currently use the regular splattershot but have just bought that 52 one, haven't tried it yet though.
I am kind of sick of seeing that warehouse stage though -.-

Also, rollers begone, you have no right to stand before me >
I took down a lot of them hahahaha
They're only a problem if you are below level to them. If you're on level or higher ground, they're easy picking. Their little swish move has terrible reach.
Also super jump at your own peril, I picked off one person just as two more super jumped to them and I finished them off too >

I never want to play the Skatepark level ever again. Have probably played about 20 matches today, and, like 15 of them have been the Skatepark. The randomizer loves that level.

Really enjoying this game so far. I like the Tentatek Splattershot so far. I still hate all of the charger weapons, haven't tried the rollers yet. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the weapons.
