Wow. That was a missed boat. I was excited to pick up this game and play with my kids (this game screams kid friendly). But at the most now it'd be 2 people playing with reduced fps.
Nintendo. Even when they get it right, they get it wrong.

Yeah, that's the biggest complaint I have about the game right now. Even a heavily scaled back (graphics downgrade, 30FPS, etc) mode that allowed for four player splitscreen would have been better than the weird 2 player balloon popping minigame they have now. I pray for a future update to fix it, but I don't have much hope as that seems like something they would have had in it from the start if they were even considering it.
Luckily the game still is pretty fun to watch, although that's certainly not going to be enough for most kids as they'll want to playing themselves.
It must be a lot of fun to be there tbh. Meeting new people with the same love for Nintendo and stuff :') Also holy shit there was people lining up there since 6 am?? insane!

I got my inkling amiibo in the mail today and she looks pretty dope. But the paintjob leaves a bit to be longed for, some poor detailing on the ink-tank and the eyes look a bit wonky.

I wish this game had 4 player splitscreen. If it did I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Still might though.

I actually work a block away. Might just pass by to see how big the line is.
They already had to heavily modify the game for 2 player, which cut the framerate in half. Imagine it being at 15fps. Yeah, no thanks.

You can read in the iwata asks how the creators not even thought once of Super Mario Sunshine while doing the game.
His answer sounds a little like his not even that fond of the game. Im with him about that.

That's an awesome looking disc, Nintendo sure knows how to make me think twice about going digital. I'll be getting Yoshi and Zelda physical though.

That was a good 3 hours or so!played some online, won some, lost some, came at the top at lot and did some single player which was pretty fun. Only reason I stopped was my Gamepad died lol, that's usually my signal to stop!
