Close one!Nintendo fucking sucks man. I showed up at Walmart for opening and they got 0 splatoon 3 packs in. No stores within 100 miles of me even got any in stock this morning per the website. So in addition to not being able to preorder for over a month, Nintendo didn't even make sure Walmart was going to have enough to stock these in store. My kids are going to be disappointed.

Are every player lagging? If so, it's most probably your connection.

Seems a weird issue when Every other device on my connection and every other Wii U game I've played online today (Smash, MK8) work flawlessly and how Splatoon was perfect yesterday. Definitely a server side issue unless today, release day, when everyone else is playing their copy my internet seems to target Splatoon specifically to fuck it up because reasons.
I can now get itno a game and within 1 min (though one with mostly JP names lasted 2 mins) the music stutters and slows down, paint stops working, other players are running around fine and so am I but no point and then "Connection issues" and then communication error blah blah can't connect.
Check out the google spreadsheet, and add a good chunk of people is your best bet.
Surprisingly decent, but I don't care too much for the rap part. Also are you guys seeing a lot of rollers in your matches? I've been going against the long ranged splattershot type weapons and chargers. And man some people are REALLY good with those chargers...

You know if it wasn't for the "warning: this software contains product placements" message I wouldn't have noticed that KOG branded wear is King of Games
It is odd, during the testfire I couldn't handle max sensitivity controls at all but here I can do fine. If I used the charger I would probably be a mess still though so maybe it is too early to tell. Shame you can't adjust analogue stick and gyro sensitivity separately.
The games I've been playing have much worse lag than the testfire though. It seems to be affecting my opponents more (I've not have any being telekineticly run over by a roller) with dead bodies firing out volleys of bullets. Except for the classic I'm shooting at the floor and nothing is coming out. Then again it seems I'm connecting to way more Japanese players this time (shame we can't see nationalities, not that regional helps much in PAL regions because South Afirca and Australia are part of the region which being in Europe means I can be better off with worldwide as America and Japan are much nearer than Australia).
Players might be a bit worse but I think that it down to the clothing loadouts they are trying being more lopsided than the testfire sets.
I guess ordering them form Spyke also works.

So for clothes I already own that means I just have to buy them again once they rotate back in or will I count as already owning them and have to wait for a splatfest to use the currency earned there to level them up.
I guess ordering them form Spyke also works.
