Oh, I'm sure! Maybe we'll here about it at E3, maybe with a Splatoon track in the new MK DLC. But you'd think it'd be out now haha, brand building and all that.

Also, I take it back Neoxon. I really want these characters to be in Smash. Trophies would be great.

One of the best most frenetic bosses ive seen. Seems Nintendo has learned to create bosses
that feel like a long stage while using everything on your hande and learned in the game, they are doing similar things with the bowser fight in the mario games. But this felt even more like a real boss, because you were fighting him, and not escaping.

Actually, it's 12000 in the future, and Judd as been awake since the egyptian turf war 2000 years ago. Yes, he acquired immortality somehow

And you unlock the Octoling gear by having all the scroll

Everyone has their chance. And everything points out that they have in mind people who are absolutely new or dislike this kind of game. The fact that there is a mandatory tutorial, that the SP is clearly designed to teach you how to play (with advanced mastery over the controls and the mechanics required at some points), that the starting weapon is one of the most effective and easy to use so newbies can fight lvl 15 and still hold their ground, waiting for enough people to reach a certain level to unlock Ranked mode, only two maps at a time, etc.
Everything is made to prepare players to play decently and teach the 101 shooters rules. Shipping what people here would call "a regular full game" is the best way to lose the audience nitnendo is going for.

You can choose to believe that they haven't manages to create more than 5 maps and two modes in over two years, but that's ridiculous, let's be honest. Maps are ready, some are even in the sp mode.
Of course some stuff is probably not finished, but the way they plan to handle update is intentional imo.

This is all true, also the maps are already done, some of them are already playable on singleplayer.

Look closely that image to the normal cotroller, and you will see they tell you how to use motion controlls with it. The buttons you need to press to do the trick work appear in red.
 
I know I'm beating a dead horse but I still wish there was voice chat, my team mates need to hear me raging at them.
 
Hm, got up to level 7 and I still haven't found anything better for me than the starter Splattershot Jr. I kind of wish it had better range, but a lot of fights happen at near-melee range anyway. And I cannot deny that using the Bubbler at the right time gives that same satisfying smirk as deploying a properly timed Ubercharge in TF2.

When all eight Inklings are fighting over the same chokepoint, hitting Bubbler and watching your entire team go *PING* and charging ahead is just glorious.

That final boss is intense! And quite awesome

I also love the scroll in the last few levels that shows the fossilized remains of a Wii U player that played 12000 years ago. It raises all kinds of questions though, not least of which...

What happened to kill him while playing?

Was he playing Mario Kart 8 with GAF and just ragequit life?
 
I just found level 10's research paper.................

I'm looking at an evolution chart that shows the progression of squid to human-like form. This is kinda disturbing. And they hint at humans or as the game calls them, "creatures of the surface" being extinct from rising sea levels which means this game takes place in our world after we're all dead.

This game is scaring me.

If the 2nd controller with the motion control trick is any indication, he seems to be playing splatoon. lol

I don't have all the scrolls and still got the Octoling equipment.
