Hate that weapon. So trash compared to the original Chargeshot.
Hit level 10, hope ranked comes out by tomorrow. It'd be nice if it was updated in real time too, with a Squid Sisters news flash and all.
Considering most competitive shooters have no music during matches I think Splatoon's 4-5 songs is pretty good.

The Hero replica Splattershot has the same stats as the regular splattershot but man is it pretty looking.
Krak-On Splat Roller is the best weapon to me.
Covers alot of ground, sub weapon allows me to place way points, and special gives me a chance to push further once I encounter the enemy. The invincible attacking squid lasts such a great amount of time and even paints too.
Won most of my games with it.

As far as i know we have no idea. If we do get new music I would expect it to come with the release of a new map.
Yeah like for me going through each level is more about finding the sunken scroll so I can read more about the back story. So cool!
Just gotta hold out for the Hideki Naganuma arrange collection dropping this summer from the Squid Soul label as complimentary DLC with the other big things.

Aerospray is so good, but I really have issues against people using the jet squelcher.
Yeah I've (briefly) glanced at the outside-arena areas and theyre pretty neat. The outside of the mall reminds me of the Onett stage in Smash Bros.
Yeah you can see trucks rolling around during super jumps too.

From that ledge you can lay defensive paint in your own half, coat the half pipes to the right, immediately fight attackers from above and segue straight for their side of the map. By the time you've done the first two things your special will be ready..
Gaining the same position in your enemies territory is devastating. The only counter I've seen work well on me is a home-based charger taking me out if I get too lax up there.

This game is crack confirmed. The guy gave up frustrated within 10min the first time I tried to get him to try the local multiplayer with me.
I had to had a stern talk with him, explaining that games are for fun, and discovered that he kept holding the A button to move, since the only over game he ever plays is Mario Kart.
Seems the game turned him around completely though, success!

I'm slowly figuring out how to deal with the aerospray, but it's really tough. Especially against a bunch of people using it.
But yea, I just try and use my better range to my advantage.
I think turf war is too volatile for ranked. Most games are decided in the final minute. You can be losing the entire match, get a quad and win the game.
Splat zones seems designed for ranked with the way you win (holding a point(s) the longest vs a mad rush in the final minute.)

if you can out range us you can win. aerospray play is basically ambush tactics like with the jnr but with no get out of jail free bubbler.

I agree that it's a great weapon. I'm most effective with either it, or-- believe it or not-- the Splattershot Jr. that they give you at the beginning of the game.
Granted I'm only level 12, I've still several more guns to unlock. But I've bought several of the ones I have unlocked, and each one has what seems to be a "fatal flaw" to me-- like a step backwards, where I'm simply not as effective.
One pleasant surprise for me has been how good some people are with the sniper rifles (er, "chargers"); especially in the warehouse level, I've played against snipers that were totally controlling that middle area in a superb fashion, and where I had to resort to huge amounts of guile just to get them off of the crates, much less splat them!

Just got paired up with 3 rollers vs a team with 3 golden guns. I thought we would get detstroyed, but then I went 13-1 with 1300 points

I'm curious why you would think this. How is it useless? What are you finding it unable to do?
Saw "Bush did 911" at the start of one of my matches on the skate park. Was laughing half the match.
