Kelp Dome is fun-fun-fun. Kinda hard to get the hang of it and Kraken is useless since all you need to do is hop up a grate*, but so much fun.

I won two Kelp Dome matches, and decided to try it on Ranked Mode while waiting for my friend. Holy crap, it was a brutal tug of war, but I saved my team in the end.

I've played 1 Splatzones and 1 Turf War of the new map, so can give my review now:

- Splatzones: The area around the square is so big that if your team lose most of it, a comeback will be VERY HARD.

- Turf War: The map is so big that you barely see people, which makes the map more of a game of speed than anything. I can see Inkbrushes and Aerosprays being VERY handy on the map. Easy to rack up a lot of points, even with an N-Zapper.


9/10: The map is very unique and gives a different feel than every other map, which is what shooters need.

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one apparently lagging. I feel like I'm crazy but I'm doing much worse than I've ever played before and I can't explain any other reason.

Just watched a guy kill me 2 on 1. I killed the guy with the roller, then someone with an NES zapper killed me after I saw the first guy went splat and then it told me that I died to the roller anyway.

Finally played the new map. I like that you really need to use the minimap to see what's going on. I really like the grates as it seems like most people don't think to look up for enemies lol Though I'm sure people will catch on soon but the free kills are nice while they last.

Also 78h 58m played. Splatoon too good.

After playing two matches on kelp dome I like it a lot. A little easy to forget to paint your base though; my first game our team almost lost because most of our base was still unpainted lol

Kelp Dome is a fun map. Set a new turf war personal high of 1526 on it one match.

Hit level 19, so almost done with the level grind.

The gamepad/motion controls are kind of murder on my wrists though when I play for a couple hours or more.
