Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

Tower mode is going to make a bunch of abilities that were blah before a LOT more useful.

Quick respawn, ninja jump, quick super jump, all gonna be actually useful since you are going to end up dying a lot.

This treehouse girl is hilarous. She had this huge yawn just a minute ago. Then she pronounced the gold dynamo "die-nam-oh" instead of "die-nah-mo".

Wait, do you guys say "die nam oh"?

Definitely interesting to see the way they've set up scoring on Tower Control. I assumed it would just wind up like a typical tug o' war where whoever had it closer to their side at the end of time would win (if not a knockout), but instead they keep track of the furthest you've gotten it onto your side? I'd be really curious to hear their reasoning why they designed it the way they have.

Why are mines limited to one at a time, yet bombs/burst/suction you can throw as many as you have ink for? And once placed you can't even replace it until the previous one goes off. Seems very limited.

Because then people would lay mines all over the place.

The only issue I have is the "can't replace" functionality and the fact that the old one blows up automatically over time. I'd much rather have it operate like the sprinkler does.

The name of the Skyscraper map is Moray Towers.

yeah this map totally justifies their content rollout imo

they basically created a difficulty progression with the way they've been releasing things

Turf Wars on this are going to be nuts. That middle ground is going to be so contested, since the towers are built for home base defense. Anybody trying to work their way up can be flanked and sent back so quickly.

edit: of course as soon as I talk about difficulty of a frontal assault, they do exactly that.
