Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

The new map looks great.

Looks like there's some great potential for rushdowns with the multiple jumps at the beginning. But at the same time, those jumps allow the other team to sneak past you really easily when you're going up their ramps. Reminds me of Bluefin, with how you gotta kinda monitor what's going on behind you.

So SplatGAF what do you do think when you see someone super jumping to a certain death?

Option A) "Meh their fault for making an unsafe jump"

Option B) "No squid left behind!"
Option F) "...If there was an ability that disabled people from super jumping to me I would totally wear it."

gonna join the GAF room for a match, testing how stable my connection runs today
seems I'm forever stuck in this queue though

e: is it fine for now?

How does the Ninja Squid ability work in terms of as a main vs secondary? Is your squid more visible when you have it as a secondary ability only rather than having it as your main ability only? Wouldn't my squid be invisible either way? I'm thinking it makes more sense to have this as secondary ability. Please enlighten me.

Ninja squid is only available as a primary.

Ninja squid is only available as a main, as are several other abilities like quick jump, tenacity, etc.

Because then people would lay mines all over the place.

The only issue I have is the "can't replace" functionality and the fact that the old one blows up automatically over time. I'd much rather have it operate like the sprinkler does.

ok then, let me reposition it whenever I want (removing the old one) and also let it stay indefinitely. I often use it as early warning/defense when I'm along a narrow passage, but it self-destructs so quickly it requires too much babysitting.

Doing pass the controller and they all want gyro on. It's fucking weeeird. I didn't realise it was mainly only for up and down. I could get used to this.
