Kelp Dome is an odd map. Had a few close calls ending in a 1-2% win last night; hard to gauge if you're gonna win at the end some times.
No. No one in the hundreds of pages of discussion has ever mentioned this. Not once. Nope.Anyone else wish there was an option to change your gear while waiting between online matches?
It's become probably my favorite map at this point. So many options and so much space to maneuver.
Divine fax machine*This game is so 90s the Splatfest theme comes in via fax machine. I love it.

Do we need to level-up our splatfest shirts before the splatfest? Looks like everyone is wearing them in the video.

#teamrock checking in. Might change my Mii name to SquidVicious or something like that during EU splat fest :3You have my pen to drill up the support for ROCK. METAL ARMIES UNITE!
Reaching the upper end of B+ now (68 points). Going to call it a day while I'm ahead rather than rage after a losing streak. I may actually reach A- next week! (or, more likely, back to B).
NA splat fest is next weekend, no?Trying to find opponents in ranked is a lost cause at the moment with Japanese players sleeping and Americans locked in their Splatfest. ;_;

Dont underestimate us dog fans!I would like to be team dog but I feel like team cat will probably win. I mean, the game does have Judd...
So dmg up is almost a must for charger users? Dang must get that set then~
Is that the minimum amount of damage ups you need to get charger kills not fully charged?
I hadn't played ranked in a week. I forgot how fun it is. Port Mackerel is great.
Port Mackerel is my favorite map on ranked, no doubt
Warehouse ranked is over fast. First team to get splatted loses. I think if that is your team, you need to wait at spawn until everyone is back then rush all at once.
Looks to be the standard charger in the gifs

Edit: with what charger also?
Today was my first time playing that stage in ranked and every match basically went the same way -- both teams just rushing the zone head on then as you said, the team that lost that first skirmish ended up just getting wrecked. Finally had a bit of sustained success there playing from the right side and crossing up the enemy with my next-level C-rank flanking tactics (throwing shit everywhere). Feel like that's the way to go if it's feasible.
I still use the splatterscope, mostly because my aim is horrible without it lolmaybe not must-have, but if you want to use other chargers Squiffer-style you should probably stack some Damage Up, I think. At +25% damage you kill at the 80+ damage mark (without Damage Up)
Its the Kelp Charger, he has Killer Wail.
Oh yeah forgot about sub and special differences but they both have the same attack power right?
Yeah thought it was a kelp, do you think it's worth it wasting so many ability slots on damage up though especially considering you had to waste your main slotsmaybe not must-have, but if you want to use other chargers Squiffer-style you should probably stack some Damage Up, I think. Kelp Charger
no, every Damage Up (sub or main) will decrease your charge time for a 100 damage shot, it's just difficult to get over +25% damage because of diminishing returns

That wasn't the case with me yesterday at least, my team lost the initial rush to the base and I got splatted a few times, but the other team sucked at defending it and once we got control of it they never took it back
works for me, I don't miss the other abilities and really I just want people to splat when I shoot themYeah thought it was a kelp, do you think it's worth it wasting so many ability slots on damage up though especially considering you had to waste your main slots
I'm far from being the best sniper here but I rely on the ability to 1-shot someone at 2/3 charge. Comes from playing the Squiffer for 40+ hoursI'm not a Charger user so maybe I don't know shit but I feel like it seems super situational, granted that situation is likely someone coming at you so every second counts. It just feels like a lot of the time you do get the chance to get a full Charge.
Had some bad luck today. Doing B+ ranked matches, lost one with our team at one second, the other team getting the timer to 0 (KNOCKOUT feels realllly unfair in situations like this.) Next game I was the only person on my team that registered a kill. 100-0 knockout. Ugh.
Add me and lets play some matches later today, I'll show how good a krak-on roller user can beThere are two distinct subsets of rollers:
Those who are competent
and
Those who end up on my team
The two sets NEVER intersect.![]()
Had a match with me and three rollers. They managed 500p. Between them.

But the real question is why do you need to shoot faster when it's already been proven you can shoot from beyond the graveworks for me, I don't miss the other abilities and really I just want people to splat when I shoot them
here's the video (should be in real time), you can score a triple kill in less than 3 seconds so assuming there's no lag (haha) and the sniper has a good day it's probably not a terribly good idea to attack them from the front
e: gotta fix the link real quick

Try using any weapon with a decent range, and you can massacre them. I normally try to avoid it by using the kraken or the killer wail, but a good Dual Squelcher user almost always destroy me, no matter how Ninja I try to be.Yesterday I had a match on Saltspray rig against a team with three rollers. They were all complete ninjas who would splat me the second I got anywhere close to their ink color
Cool stuff.I had the time for a little experiment
