Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

GAF, any tips for handling japanese Dynamo Rollers, especially japanese ones, besides leaving the room when they appear? :(

The only way to handle them is to have a competent roller on your own team. That's why you need rollers like me to carry the burden and cover the map while everyone else goes for K/D.

I'm just doing my job, covering the map and hoping my team comes out with the W.

Who or what do I have to sacrifice to the Splatoon gods in order to win?

3 pieces of Super Charge Up gear and an Aerospray

By short range you mean Aerospray? If so the inkstrike makes complete sense, specially how fast you can fill your meter with the aero.

I don't mind it, I just want more variety in those weapons. Its a moot point though since it has Inkzooka

I do't see many gaffers online in my friends list anymore. I usually play every night (EST), so if anyone wants to add me, my NNID is in my profile.

Doesn't look like anybody's tooting their own horn.
except for Heng ;)

I don't play with gaffers that often (mostly just play randoms), but from the games I've played, the ones I don't really want to fight because I'd probably get destroyed would be: SM239, Heng, and Sendou. And maybe Walkman (when he's not using gyro).

Violet is also terrifying, but in a different way.

EDIT: Forgot about Grakl. Only played a few matches against, but they were all really one-sided.
I laughed pretty hard at that, was my gyro that bad lol I felt i was getting better. Today's day 3 of gyro so you all better be ready.

I love when I'm in a firefight with someone and they're hiding in ink somewhere and the big PLAYER IS JUMPING HERE circle shows up on their current position

Why did Nintendo think making a Niitsuma tier Speed of Light netcode™ was a good idea in a game where people have things like the Dynamo Roller available to themselves?

Worst thing about that is when the time is running out, it's like everyone gets so desperate to superjump that they dont even check where they are landing lol

I got into a duel with a Kraken in one of the splat zones in the skatepark. My dodge skills are nothing special, but lol @ Kraken being OP. That roller never stood a chance.

*shrugs* Could have been weapon. Not sure what you're using now, but the last time I played against you (maybe last week), you were using the dual squelcher and I couldn't approach at all.

Loving Cold Blooded so much right now.

It's kind of funny how it works. People get too confident with ninja squid and become easy targets to echolocator. But, as someone who uses echolocator a lot, I also fall into the same trap and become an easy target for cold-blooded. I think I've got everybody marked, try to go in for a sneaky approach, but then one person has cold blooded and they're right behind me.

Nope, I'm done. GGs, GAF. And thanks for stealing my kills so that I look worthless.

That's probably why you were off your game, I played with you last night and then I see your playing early in the morning PST. I'm eastern time so it was still kind of late when you were playing last night.

I love baiting the kraken. I legit lol every time I take down a kraken in ranked because it's always hilarious.

I don't understand the problem

So I'm the only one that's experienced that the majority of Japanese players are useless..? Not all of them of course but certainly the majority of them.

I'm pretty useless at the game myself, so I know there's something wrong somewhere when I'm usually the highest scoring player on the losing side lol

if I'm not playing GAF I'm pretty much only paired against Japanese players and they seem fine to me

I figured I'd miss Ninja Squid more than I do... but some people are so bad at noticing/reacting when I swim without it that it doesn't seem to matter. Obviously, better players can tell but with so many Echolocators out there it doesn't seem worth it.

Get a level 20 Japanese roller on your team and see how useless you think they are

Luna Blaster coming tonight fellas. Ink Mines as the sub. If you wanna get a boost in your ranking, pick Dual Squelcher (or anything decently ranged, since Luna has terrible reach) for your weapon and Bomb Sniffer for your boots. :P
