Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

I figured I'd miss Ninja Squid more than I do... but some people are so bad at noticing/reacting when I swim without it that it doesn't seem to matter. Obviously, better players can tell but with so many Echolocators out there it doesn't seem worth it.

yeah I gave up ninja squid a while ago because it just didn't matter

I'm all about swim speed now

It's kind of funny how it works. People get too confident with ninja squid and become easy targets to echolocator. But, as someone who uses echolocator a lot, I also fall into the same trap and become an easy target for cold-blooded. I think I've got everybody marked, try to go in for a sneaky approach, but then one person has cold blooded and they're right behind me.

It's the weirdest triangle so far. I wonder what people will start doing to combat Cold Blooded.

That's probably why you were off your game, I played with you last night and then I see your playing early in the morning PST. I'm eastern time so it was still kind of late when you were playing last night.

I was actually playing to get through the hour so that the caffeine could kick in. My circadian rythym says that I have to get tired from about 8:30AM through 10:30AM if I get up early. Sometimes that gets extended to 12:00PM. I guess the caffeine kicked in and I started getting super salty. At the same time, hardly any of my teammates knew how to handle the opposing team. Doesn't help that games where we lose I'm doing really well and games where we win (rare) I look like I was carried hard with a 1/5 KDR and last in points.

Edit: I just blame the circadian rythym. I don't know if that's actually it. But it happens at the same time consistently, so I dunno.

I'm still in the B's but I still haven't seen superior Japanese players. Posts like this remind me of how folks talk about Korean folks playing Starcraft.

I get a bunch of rank A and A+ guys with me in turf wars, maybe that's where I'm getting it from

*shrugs* Could have been weapon. Not sure what you're using now, but the last time I played against you (maybe last week), you were using the dual squelcher and I couldn't approach at all.

I was using the zapper yesterday and so were you I think, but I felt like you had longer range for some reason I dont know, but maybe it was some lag or something and I have to learn gyro using the regular guns before I can go back to the dual squelchers, maybe I'll do it today.
yo walkman, when are you on normally?

I'll be playing DMC4SE today, but I wanna hop on Splatoon as well.
I'm usually on at 2 pm to 8pm eastern time, because I have work from 6am to 12pm, it's a part time job so it can vary it all depends on if I have work sometimes I stay up late or play earlier, I'm on right now

We won the game, when I made DaBoss sit in spawn for a few seconds to chase me. Rest of my team pushed up, and we never let go of the gained ground.

I always get a shitload of special gauge-perks on my favorite clothes, makes me sad. Could definitely use some more defense and attack power. Oh well, let the grind for rerolls begin.

Have a bit of a problem.

Currently using a university's internet and I can not get into Splatoon matchmaking at all. I added my Wii U as a device on their network but their doesn't seem to be a form request for allowing port forwarding. Is there anything I can do? I am stuck with this internet for a 2 more months. :(

Sorry, but both Doc and Violet were lagging on my end, so I'm gonna leave. I ain't about that life, man.

I got no clue what game this is and I need a scope, but I'll keep using this cause I need to git gud without a scope.

I'm as dangerous as a inkbrush at long range without a scope.

I am just good at covering ink with the chargers without a scope lol.

Do other online games work, like Mario Kart?

Send email to the IT department or whoever is controlling the network. You just have to find ways to convince them to set you a static ip or port forward the required ports. It won't be easy.

Exatrly, which is why we won, when I made you chase you me. You killed me of course, but those few seconds where you weren't pushing the line was all my team needed to win.
