Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

So everyone is Team Rock, yeah?

Yeah!

I haven't played this game in a while because Smash DLC but went back a little while ago to finish the single player. Geez that final boss fight.

So is splatfest actually coming to USA soon? Heard it was delayed because matchmaking issues but would love to jump back when it there. Hope the new map won't get me too confuse.

I heard July 4th for America and Europe was the rescheduled date.

I hope that Nintendo are going to keep these servers going for around 10 years or so...it's gonna take me that long to stop switching between C-, C and C+ and finally get onto B- lmfao

And I still keep going back for more too :o(

So the carbon roller is essentially a brush/roller hybrid. I love the rolling speed but the decrease in power doesn't work for me. The release of this and the luna blaster have really made me appreciate the base weapons.

Nice one Blak_Status, that round pushed me back to A-! I fell from A+ to B+ this week and am now starting to bounce back a bit again ;_;

I feel so powerless on turf wars compared to ranked. It feels like my performance is irrelevant. Our team can dominate for the first 2 minutes or more and then in the end loose big even. I know I won't be going back to this mode outside of splatfest because you can be shit the entire map and then make a good play in the last 30 seconds to turn things around while splat zones counts points whenever you are in control which is way more fair, as you have to perform every second of the match.

How does scoring work? I just had 9:2 kills which was the most of my team, and painted a lot, but finished bottom?
edit: 8:0 losing to a guy with 5:3

That was actually pretty good snoping, Doc. Sure, there were one or two times that you sniped me through a corner or some other lag issue, but overall, it was a really good play with the Charger.

Speaking of, the Bomb Throw Up set lets me throw Splat Bombs almost as far as a max E-Liter charge. In theory, it should scare the E-Liter, but then there's an issue with how much ink those things use, so I only really get 1 good throw.

Floors and ramps are the only things that count for points. Painting the walls gives you no points. Some weapons paint better than others. Kills do give points, but that's because they explode in a puddle of your ink color, so it's like you threw a burst bomb at that spot.

Use the Splattershot Jr, or the Aerospray if you have it, and go on Turf War. Kelp Dome gives a ridiculous amount of points.

Points are scored by painting turf. Kills don't add to your points beyond the paint that explodes from them when you kill them.

Brb.

Poor Harry. He wasn't a wizard today.

This squid...had a hard life.

I was thinking of a cool main skill if there's an update around halloween, "fire from beyond the grave", the effect is so funny in game already, it has to be a thing! Zink brand to manufacture this.

Thanks for the compliment, kinda hard to keep your cool around rollers, your configuration was solid with those bombs, I don't remember of all your subs but if you can mix a Ink recovery up in main, or two subs, with your gameplay, you'll be even more violent.
Also, is there skills to absolutely avoid as a sniper? I'm going with tenacity for the hat and special duration up on the shoes for the kraken, and I think that I can add two attack up for the torso, instead of the splatfest tee.

*gets into 3 charger team in urchin underpass*
*loses miserably*
*gets out of lobby and into another*

Learn2Carry. =P

Seriously, that's just unfortunate. It'd be funny if it was the same room. The game likes to troll that way.

Climbed up to B-. I don't enjoy ranked at all so I will just stop here until something changes.
Fuck the last amiibos challenges too, I hate absurd time or ink limits. All those things are stressful so turf wars and splatfest only from now on.

the time challenges are super easy, just use the kraken the whole time and nothing can harm you. But I still have to do the ink challenges as well

Getting stuck on a sliver of enemy paint with an inkzooka is the biggest "screw you" this game has given me.

I gotta carry harder.

Edit: Ok, second biggest "screw you."
Those 3-day losing streaks sucked hard.

Welp, so much for that today. Japanese Krak-on Rollers continue to prove to be the bane of my existence. Even the ones I can actually deal with in encounters wind up being incredibly annoying for other reasons.

Still searching for some other weapon that I seem to do as well with as the .96 Gal, but I don't think that's coming. I'm on an odd kick with the Nozzlenose the last day or two but I'm still not nearly as effective with it. Why I can't just stay with what I'm comfortable with, I have no idea.

Use something with a disruptor if you hate rollers.

Use Azure J's strategy of running straight at a Carbon Roller and hoping they miss.
That sadly actually worked on me at first because my ink kept on going straight over his head.
