Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

Being smashed in the head while playing the match up correctly because LOLIMTEHFASTEST is dumb as fuck.
If you're using a brush, the only way to play the match-up correctly is to run the fuck away. And if you're doing that then I don't see how you're getting smashed in the head. :P

Also, unless you're looking at a roller user from directly behind them, it's usually not too hard to figure out which is which. Red handlething = Carbon, in-your-face handlething = Dynamo, normal handlething = normal roller.

Oh no, I think the only overpowered thing in the game is ink resistance at the moment, but I think the carbons subs really set it apart.

something I really like about the Carbon Roller are the splat bombs (err, burst bombs), they supplement rollers very well. I had a one-minute stand off against a Squelcher on Skatepark who didn't dare moving into my roller range, so we just kept painting the ground between us

Running away forfeits so much land to the roller though. :(

Something I really hate about the Carbon Roller are the burst bombs. Everyone keeps bombing me today.

That felt so cathartic, smashing some gaf-heads with the dynamo roller, especially after my dismal showing yesterday with the charger. But I really reeeeeally need to stop painting the pipes on saltspray with the freakin' roller.

I'm a bit disappointed that the Splatfest teeshirt shows-up as a generic design if you're not in the same region. Rock tee is so beautiful and sexy that I want its image burned into the mind of my enemy as I splat them off the face of the earth.

I am really getting tired of the lack of communication features which in turn is because of the dumb things team mates do and then makes me feel helpless cause this is a team-oriented game.

I'm mostly referring to Turf Wars here. Splat Zones at least have people with an idea of what to do and some coordination (in high ranks).

My only reel

complaint about the netcode is about losing points when you disconnect - if I'm winning when I DC I'm not quitting, and if someone else DCs midway through I should lose less points (only happens when someone DCs before a match starts)

Other than that, I feel like lag and comm errors are my fault, so while annoying, can't do much about it.

Can someone give me an update on what was released this week?

"Oh hey a charger teammate is fending off enemies, let me go and stand right beside him so I can block his shots, make him a more visible target, and die together to inkzookas and bombs."

OK, that wind the lag prize O_o

It wasn't me was it?
Nah, it was against some random Japanese guy like a week ago.
I'm in kelp dome, I'm completely surrounded by my own ink, and I just start getting hit out of nowhere, and then I die and it shows a guy I killed like 20 seconds ago who is in the opposite corner of the map now. It was nuts.

Just had a series of Ranked games in a group of C and C+ players for some reason. I had B+ and there was another guy (a roller named Sharpy) who was the same rank. Later we both upgraded to A-. We trolled the group hard, the matches were basically between us, and when we got on the same team we always won. Poor guys.

Inkzooka is only "bad" with regard to coverage. A super that essentially fires a wall of ink at an opponent with comparable range to an E-Liter couldn't be anything less than fantastic, especially as the meta begins to shift towards harassing key players on opposite teams.

The range is weird in that it's highly dependant on elevation, and they only travel at a specific angel so hitting opponents underneath you is impossible.

I think bomb rush is better.

I just ended a losing streak that took me from a B- to a low C+... or so I thought. Just as we got the knockout someone on the opposing team must have rage quit and it crashed the room.

I... just can't take much more.

God fucking fuck how many times am I going to play Saltspray Rig and have to defend the top portion against 2+ people at the beginning of the match. Everybody off doing whatever the fuck.

"Alright I had 3 of the enemy distracted for a few minutes. We should have at least taken the lower half of saltspray. Nope..."

Anyway GGs all. Going to take a break for a bit. I think I'm starting to like the blaster but I need to get better at extreme close range fighting as you need to get a direct hit or die.

inkzooka is arguably the best super. That first shot has like no counter play.

The inkzooka:
-Leaves you a vulnerable sitting duck
-Can't shoot down
-Has knockback which can knock you off a platform to your death
-Can't be used as a quick ink refill
-Is pitifully slow
-Has poor ink coverage

It's only real use is for getting people sitting on high ledges or people really far away who aren't paying attention.
