Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

About to get on too.

By the time OT3 hits I'll finally start using something other than roller.

But roller is life! :D

Getting a 4.0 kd while taking over the middle in ranked is fun, but it's still fun only because I'm in the C rank still. Wonder how much worse it'll be above that...

Haha, I keep putting up my best games in losing efforts. 800/8/1 on Urchin and we lose. 1000/7/3 on Urchin and we lose. Why can't I put up my good games against GAF when I win? GAF is too good. That Bubbler round on Arowana Mall was just impossible to push through.

I wanted that last game on Urchin so badly because of how we had our backs to the wall the whole game and broke through at the last second. Sooooooo close.

How difficult is it to wait five fucking minutes for matches to finish before you pull the plug on the servers? Nintendo is ridiculously incompetent.

Matches don't all end at the same time. There's no way to do it without interrupting some games

Ok so after beating single player I went to the weapons shop and Sheldon went on for a good while about new weapons and weapons upgrades. I guess lots of potential weapons upgrades if you get more scrolls?

The Carbon Dynamo roller sucks, IMO, for offensive attacks compared to my Krakon Roller. Same with the regular Dynamo Roller.

Takes way, way to long to wind up an attack. By the time you wind up your attack you'll be dead.

Sure you have more range compared to the Krakon Roller, but I like to get up close to my enemies and rush them with the roller anyway.

That long wind up just doesn't cut it IMO.

And update done.

Callie: Looks like the game has changed a bit!
Marie: Oh, cool...
Callie: Check the official website for details!
Marie: Yeah!

Splatoon has undergone some changes to improve your play experience.
For details, check the official website.

Didn't think Callie and Marie would actually announce it.

Looks like dynamo stops being OHKO at a distance of about 2.7-2.8 lines on the test range. Max range I can deal damage at is about 4.2 with no jumping, and 4.5 with jumping.

For reference the max range I can hit a target from with dual squelcher is about 3.7 lines. So I you've got a bit of wiggle room with your squelchers and .96's range wise before you enter the death zone. Aerosprays and junior on the other hand have to be about 2 lines away to kill effectively, you have to get into the death zone to be able to kill.

I feel like I'm back to not-sucking with the Charger.

I still adore my Stealth Jump Haunt combo, particularly on stages with obvious choke points. Breaking through as far as I can and then slapping my killer with a tracer that will help anyone else who broke through with me. The strategy would probably work better with a rapid fire weapon like the squelcher, but I just can't give up my sprinkler for it. Sprinkler is the sub of a thousand uses, from distraction, to painter, to physical meat-shield.

So what does it take to make a single burst from the L-3 Nozzlenose a OHKO? At least against someone with no Defense Up. With 1 Primary and 1 Sub Damage Up it shows 97% damage in the test map. I don't have anymore Damage gear. Would it just take a second Damage Up sub?

On that note, is there any Squidforce that comes with Damage Up primary? I'd prefer to dedicate just one equipment to it.

Dynamo Roller is so good. I hated it at first but I just had to adjust my playstyle. Try using Gold Roller first if you have it unlocked

Is the update actually live, as in "affecting gameplay" live? It said it had updated, so I went into the test room with Ninja Squid and tested out the swim speed... It didn't seem that different to me.

Shots max out at 33.3. A one pump kill is impossible.

I believe it's capped at 99.9 per burst. Tested with 3 Damage Ups mains and two subs.

Kick people out of incomplete lobbies, stop people from joining matchmaking for 6 minutes, and then by the end of that all matches in progress should be done. Then do the maintenance. It's not hard.

It's noticeably slower.

They weren't going to make it, like, super slow or anything. That would be fucking stupid. It's in line with what I expected.
