Even though I've spoiled myself a bit. I'd rather not see twitter impressions after a premiere outright spoil bits of the movie. You know these tweets will be the talk of the town once their posted and I'd hate for shit to get spoiled for people.

Shit's about to be everywhere though.
 
I'm in the boat where since the movie is just a few days away I really don't need any more spoilers. I don't need to hear the soundtrack. I don't need some shot by shot explanation of things.

Just gonna wait it out.

I'm going to be so giddy drunk on nostalgia and excitement after Thursday. I won't sober up enough to think of this as a film for weeks or months.

If this ends up being more of a self contained story like ANH, I could see this surpassing ESB.
 
I get to go watch the film and enjoy it without having to over analyze everything the second it happens like if I had not been spoiled. It worked great for me for episodes 2/3.

Like I said man. I'm just expecting a fun movie and from what I know I really think I'll love it. Based on what we know I think this can be at least AS good as ANH but there is the potential for it to be better. If it's better than ANH then it bodes so well for the future of this trilogy.

Exactly. I personally don't get nostalgic over the first time I see a movie. Maybe if I had children that we're seeing it with me.

So I just want it to be the 10th, 20th, 100th time I watch it.
 
Nope. There's only the 72-min CD version. Williams prefers all initial releases be done like that, he arranges the albums as a listening experience first and foremost.

Although Abrams has said the music that doesn't make the soundtrack (about a half-hour) will get released at some point.

I own the ANH and ESB soundtracks. Never really buy soundtracks otherwise. But shit, you assholes got me hyped. Just pre-ordered.

Wonder what the half hour of additional music was, cut from the film, or made for something else?

Same here. The only stuff that I've been actively avoiding are the Visual Dictionary leaks because I actually plan on buying and reading both that and the Cross-Section (heh) book.

I doubt we're going to see anything other than incoherent hypitude on social media tonight, but I do want to find out how they handled the Lucasfilm logo.
 
All in all, while there were a few snags here and there and a few people pissing in the pool a little, I gotta say this was way more fun than the last time I found myself roped into this fuckin' circus.

This has been pretty alright.
 
I mostly lurked, but I always liked these spoiler threads. Crazy that we are already at this point.

Does anyone remember the total runtime of TFA?
