I think someone on the gaming side had one from a Miku

one. Did a double take when I saw the cover and recognized it. Maybe it should be the next avatar fad.

No, Evangelion is actually good, and therefore capable of holding up to fanwank speculation. You can apply population models to Madoka all you want, it doesn't change the fact that the whole concept behind said fanwank is based on troll physics.

Anyway:

K-ON! OVA: Live House
Somehow missed this, but it was disappointing. Sure, they had some good stuff with the whole set-up for live shows, but I was disappointed that they didn't show a bit of the other bands or at LEAST the atmosphere of when they got up and played for one of their songs. Didn't really give the satisfying experience of the performance after all that set-up and preparation.

Oh well, it's an OVA, not like they probably had a huge budget. I've got my own first live show with my band coming up in two weeks(!!!!!!), and I was hoping it'd get me a little pumped, despite our music being different...

Besides, fanwank doesn't detract from the actual quality of a show, it just detracts from the intellect of the people doing the wanking. Evangelion's fandom has, thankfully, calmed down on a lot of this stuff since the early years, and I'm sure the same will happen with Madoka. Let the crazies have their fun.
