This was an advantage because it gave her something unique compared to the other girls, also her problem was a little easier to relate to because it's something a lot of people suffer from. Reading about her endings in the game, I really cannot fathom why they decided to go with the ending they did.

Right, well it took a bit of canoodling with google docs to get the two pictures I have in there (had to get rid of the captions), but go ahead and take a look. I'm pretty proud of it (I should be, I got a flying A+ on it), but I should really re-write a few of the parts to provide a better perspective on alternate interpretations. Keep in mind, my tag applies to this quite a bit (which is funny because my theory teacher was flamingly gay). Word count is about 2500. Enjoy~ (and comment if you like)

A lot of this certainly makes sense, and importantly you define moe (as something). Whenever I try and bring a definition to anyone on the internet they tend to say "you can't define slang" to which I reply "then how do you know what you're talking about with other peoples?"

Still, even though I prefer a different definitions, yours is still pretty useful. However, I might modify it to "a combination of traits that aim to create an instant positive emotional reaction to a character." Even then, I'd move away from any one emotional reaction.

Also, you speak of moe only being inspired by male characters on a 'rare occasion'. I haven't done any research on that subject, but I imagine there are a number of male characters who inspire "moe feelings" in the audience. Just look at Natsume! Or, on a grander scale, Evangelion.

Finally, you mention the power of narrative in increasing the moe likeability of a certain character, but what do you mean by 'narrative'? Is it an actual narrative, with real story elements? If so, then why was K-On! so popular, a show whose characters always poll so highly.

Back in my more paranoid days, I wrote a bash script that randomly created a sym-linked directory tree to change the location of my folder each time I restarted my computer.

Worked well until I lost track of the folder's location...

6/7 is pretty good. How's that not a harem ending? He accomplished more than any other harem lead in 25 episodes no less.
