I thought this show was guaranteed to be awful?

Who told you that ? Everyone was anticipating thet arrival of the baby because it had the potential to ruin a good serie but so far it hasn't.

Now that i've seen the end of the prologue ( ep 7 ) i will watch this weekly because it 's not bad at all

I like that Devil Survivor OP. I wonder why they didn't ask SEKAI NO OWARI to do the music though, just having the vocalist of the band seems pretty dumb.
Oh well, still good.

Devil Survivor 2 The Animation PV2. Warning: Terrible OP music within.

Lol, the scene where the girl hits the guy over the head and those lines appear above the guy's head sticks out so much. Those lines feels so rare now that I definitely wasn't expecting them in this show.

The colors are so unsaturated. It seems they are sticking with washed-out colors even in humorous scenes, which I'm not usually a big fan of. Also, it seems the anime is going to use a lot of digital effects. To be honest, I don't think the PV looked that great, but I've always been interested in the SMT games so I'm looking forward to this despite going in pretty much blind.

Lewd broom episode. Miyafuji, Lynette, and Perrine are sent to an old witch to brush up on their skills due to them being out of action for so long. Their task was to ride a broom, and because all the girls lack pants, it lead to some pretty lewd scenes. (nsfw)

Sounds like some lazy dance track with a vocalist mumbling into a mic with the least effort ever and in a single tone throughout. Awful. Almost made me fall asleep just listening to it during the PV.

The editing does sound lazy, with the character voice overlapping too much and such, hope its sounds better in the actual opening.

Btw I really don't like Kamiya as MC seiyuu :( Feel like he more fitting for Yamato.

Is it just the OP or is it something else?
A lot of things. Bad OP music isn't enough to kill my interest alone, but I'm just not impressed by the production quality on almost any level. I've been on the fence about watching the show since it was announced, but it just isn't giving me enough reasons to get interested.

Besides all that, I haven't played DS2 yet and I imagine the experience is going to be something reminiscent of someone jumping into the Persona 4 animated adaptation blind.

It's livetune, dude's a great producer, this is much better than most anisongs which are usually produced in specialised studios.

Listen to his stuff out on Maltine Records, he is really good, and he also happens to be one of the biggest Miku producer right now as well..

Oh guess what? I hate Miku too. Maybe some people like vocals which sound like tone-sampled zombies. I sure don't.

All caught up with love Live! So much went down during the latest episode.

Honoka deserved that slap to the face, though. I would have done the same thing.

Haha I didn't mean to flame, that's fine if you don't.
It's just weird that people shit on an OP when it's made by a legit talented producer while most are done by untalented career commercial producers.
Give him a chance though, he's done a similar thing using the "adding" suffix with Megumi Nakajima (Ranka Lee, also voiced some vocaloids).

I don't think there's anything wrong with shitting on something based on the quality. Whoever worked on it is kinda irrelevant if it sounds like shit. Whether a producer or composer or singer is talented is subjective, so I'm sure you'll find lots of people who disagree with your statement anyway.

I see. Yeah, I agree that the production quality doesn't look that amazing. I'm kinda in the same place. I'll give it a few episodes but I won't be happy if the pacing feels awful for people who haven't played the game.
Hey kids, what day is it?

FINAL Tamako Wednesday!

*Goes off a corner and cries*
:(
I hope KyoAni does great things with this episode, at least.

Enjoy Tamako Market guys, with those sales we're not gonna be getting anything like that again anytime soon :( Get ready for more Ishihara dorama stuff.

Ah yes. We use live ammo, but we practice safety. Then every other team captain sticks head out of tank and team scrub flees the tank while it is being fired upon. No one gets any disciplinary action.

Girls und Panzer is presented with minimal safety precautions so that viewers can enjoy the cuteness of the tanks.

Okusama wa Mahou Shoujo - I found this quite interesting. The whole Magical Girl getting old/dealing with age thing. And a romance with somewhat older than the typical 13-17 age range. Of course I could watch pretty much anything that has Kikuko Inoue as a lead.
