Well, the next arc started nearly 10 years ago in the manga, was approixmately half of the manga when it finished, and has never been animated before.
So, there's a bit of pent-up anticipation.

I'm seriously halfway through this and not one character has yet to utter her name.
Doesn't really help that she herself hasn't bothered to check or hasn't realized it yet either.
Episode itself was fine. Her alone time with Ikki near the lake was definitely romantic. Sucks that it was ruined later by those jealous mob characters from the fanclub whose plan of dating him three months each is just ridiculous and stupid. Also N seriously needs to lay off from stalking her.

Maybe I'm a bit salty because I got my Bebop DVDs for an effective price of about £7.50 (HMV was taking pre-orders for a re-print of the complete set at £15, and also a "pay £10 get £20 voucher" promo on a Groupon rip-off, so yeah).

Fate Zero is really good. Very character driven and quite dark and sometimes gruesome, but very very watchable. The music is some of Yuki Kajiura's finest to date.

Technobabble up the wazoo, militaristic dystopian futures, and tons (tons) of ominous ironic dialogue? Yup, that was written by Urobuchi. Or at least the first half. Which I didn't totally hate, but it was pretty dull in terms of how it presented the action and the stakes.
Second half was a lot more enjoyable simply because you could start following what the fuck was happening. The reveal at the end was pretty predictable, but I've come to expect that with the writer.

Ledo is pretty cool. He doesn't say a lot but he isn't a fucking idiot either. He acts like a substantially trained military pilot. When Amy starts chatting with him in episode 2 itsl ike hnnnnngh.

Kento got robbed with having only one episode to being the boyfriend.
His interaction with her was awkard than anyone of the previous two but it also served to make them a cuter couple as a result. Impressed that he managed to not only figure out her memory loss but also have the patience and trust to believe in her and spirit boy's story. That part with them holding hands and wanting to see her again before she went to the next world was probably my favorite part so far in the series.
Next looks to be the cheerful blond, lets see if he beats Kento as being the best guy.

I really like how this show puts more focus on the Precure's families than in Futari wa. I feel like I can actually feel how their families impact their lives and shape them, rather than just being background characters.
We're almost approaching the 24 episode mark, so I'm assuming shit will really start going down fairly soon.

Technobabble aside this is off to a very good start. Ledo seems way too cool headed for a main character in a mecha series lol. The waterworld setting and gorgeous backgrounds are really doing it for me. I like the ramifications of Amy
