Valvrave 01

This was pretty awful. That social stuff had me cringing hard
the death drama hahaha, the battle in the end was also so busy I had trouble understanding what was going on
Hopefully it will make a good hatewatch.
Edit: Ok I missed the post credit stuff. I changed my mind. This is going to be the VERY fun kind of terrible.

I cant believe she even got fan art, though then again, menu screen characters and operator-kuns seem to always get some sort of fandom attention.

Valvrave is quality. I cant be the only one :/

Damn. This Anime was so god damn good.

I just finished watching this 11 episode masterpiece and its easily in my top 3 of all time. The art and music on BD are really top notch. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good slice of life anime.

You will laugh and cry, and most of the time left in awe by what is being displayed on screen. Because it is only 11 episodes, i felt like they had enough time to develop each character proportionate to their significance in the story. All without over staying their welcome. The story also has closure which is sometimes a hit in miss in some anime. Of course somethings they could have improved on IMO but they are such little nit picks that i won't even mention them.

Either i am LTTP on this or this is really underrated... the latter would really make me sad. This is Anime done right, and is too good to pass.

What can i say about this show...It's pretty good. In it's essence, it's nothing more than a disney-style fairy tale and "boy meets girl" love story. It's really sweet to boot.
Animation is gorgeous, stills look great too. Story is simple and enjoyable, adventures aplenty and the character interaction is handled nicely.
It's not in any way a masterpiece, but just a nice "feel good" romantic tale. Show doesn't take itself too seriously, which is nice too. It's not dark, depressing, or anything.

In other words, i can recommend it to anybody who likes such stuff. It's sweet and charming, definitely worth checking out. It also featured refreshing amount of almost zero fanservice.

Amazing. Even Duckroll's Iron Man praise can't rival it.

LTTP though it was my first NISA BD purchase. I dont think Id have it in my top 3 as it felt maybe one or so episodes too long.

An anime aggreagate site has it as the 33rd best anime of all time, making making it only two spots away from the best ranked anime this season (31 - Attack on Titan)...so its not underrated.

The easy analogy to make would be to consider that MAL recently changed their naming convention so that everything is in glorious Nippon-ese and death and retribution await naysayers. That tells you everything you ever needed to know about the community there.

While AnimeGAF is not without its problems, its continual cynicism to everything keeps it well grounded.

Thats kind of shitty. I might check the forum out of curiosity just to fuck with the weeaboos.

Nonsense! We all know Makoto's her first love!

Makoto should be included in any great pairing. She is the only one worthy of Takane anyway.

Date A live > SAO and best girl hasn't even arrived yet.

Truth bombs.

Will vote :D

:3

Actually I don't plan on watching it even after she shows up. Not until it's finished, at least.

Same. Clock face or GTFO.

Ano Hana is seen as a bit of a joke show. I like it but many others did not. Truthfully the show has great moments but also frustrating moments that really didnt feel relevant to the original premise. Just all over the place. It does look pretty good on BR.

I hope someone comes in and watches Sora no Woto, it's the best A-1 show.

Well if it makes you feel better Sora No Woto is pretty well loved here.

N stop stalking the poor girl

Amnesia Epsiode 3

I genuinely liked this episode more than I should have if only because the spirit boy wasn't there and I didn't have to hear his voice (until the end sadly).

Main girl being revealed to have been dating with Shin(Black haired) isn't all that surprising but still disappointing. Rather have liked her to have no commitment to anyone, but I do feel bad for him that she's forgotten about their relationship. Someone (N probably) is definitely screwing with her memories for whatever reason.

Date a Live 02

Date a Live > SAO.

This show is a ton of fun to watch. It's ridiculously stupid, it's basically a better version of TWGOK.

TWGOK has better girls and a much better harem protagonist with Keima though

That is weird, he should have put it in its own tier below it.

I should, Togainu probably the biggest production trainwreck ever.. magi nothing close to that.
Togainu no Chi ought to be in top tier.!
Well I will reconsider if they ever fully done one episode right lol
Goripon already said that he won't do CG dancing because people can just play the game for that.
I just scared because that shit already plaque SW movie.

Excellent conclusion to the arc with one of the best friendship scenes in anime for a really long time. Teared up and got all like Bisky there when Gon was like Killua is his bestest friend ever. So glad the writer improved from Yu Yu Hakusho to making such a wholly and fantastic story. I hope the next arc can really keep it up and focused on Killua Gon moments. Also hopefully a few of the other characters get involved (certainly cant be the last time we see of the Spiders, Chrollo, and even Hisoka, Leorio/Kurapika?).

List is great character design too as well as young Ging.

A1 couldn't even spell things consistently in it.

Okay... I don't get how that has to do with it being on the LOL tier. A few spelling mistakes? Saying it contributes greatly that the show is LOL tier? It's far from it. I'm perfectly fine with people hating on SAO and not liking it. That's fine. However, to discredit what the show does and say it's on the same tier as Magi? That's insulting.

Magi isn't bad as SAO. At least put it at the top of the tier, like almost decent.

SAO is in no way on the LOL tier. You cannot say that SAO is as bad as Magi.

I'm not arguing that, I watched only 6 episodes of Magi, can't say how bad it was overall. but they didn't do a good job with SAO; not direction, not animation. Not even considering the source material here, they wasted time on a lot of useless filler.

I thought it was decent. Not really a high-quality anime, but it was pretty enjoyable.

Well, it is a show from 2011 so you are LTTP. I wouldn't say you are alone in your appreciation of the work either, see thread here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=459981

Looks like i completely missed the 2011 anime awards, pretty happy it made the top 10 =). Will have to check out the ones i missed. Working!! seems cool.

Good to know that it is not as underrated as my friends would have me think... cause all i got from them when i asked them about it was "whats that" lol. Having said that, it would have probably been a smart idea to wait a day before writing something about Ano Hana, instead of 30 minutes after finishing it =P

The more Anohana love this thread gets, the better. This, along with Steins;Gate, is what brought me back to watching anime after a long hiatus.

Dude i shit you not, Ano Hana and Steins;Gate are the same for me. Are you me lol?
