Really fun episode. The entirety of the eating contest was lighthearted and funny mainly because of Naruto's inability to compete and Choji's seriousness. Found it quite ironic that what Naruto failed at trying to eat was the Ramen, even though it looked delicious. Choji showed his game face on when checking out the competion was great and could have won the whole thing if Shikamaru didn't stop him. The last two competitors also had their moment when they revealed their secret techniques which made me laugh.

Most importantly though they had some cameos of Sasori, Kakuzu, Deidara(!), and Hidan(!!) whom I'm glad to see again after quite some time. Thankfully, at least Deidara and Sasori are due to make another appearance in next weeks episode which is exciting.

Yeah, as is well known, crazy expensive. And given where anime revenue comes from I guess it is understandable to some degree. Still thats way beyond my threshold and I'm a U.S. comic buyer. I'm amazed the whole thing has not imploded due to endemic piracy. I guess the remaining folks are just those who need physical items and the merch that comes with said items.

Makes me feel even more grateful to folks like Crunchyroll. And frankly amazed they could make deals to provide content so cheaply.

$40/episode for Date A Live? Damn.

Drugs would be cheaper. What pisses me off though isn't so much the pricing but the fact that so many don't come with artboxes. How hard is that shit? The exchange rate though makes a lot of it more bearable now compared to a year ago when shit was like $100 for a single volume.

I am amazed though that the industry hasn't imploded. It's truly a damn miracle. I can afford to blow ludicrous amounts due to how high my monthly allowance is. I can't imagine someone working a normal job affording any of this shit.

Ending: Okay song. The running thing with Tohka really reminds me of IS ending with Houki.

Rather mad that they shortened Tohka's rampage just for half of the episode about the date, which wasn't that bad honestly. Mainly because of Tohka's cuteness and her curiosity about all the stuff around her like food and the love hotel. Music is still very good, might honestly buy the OST when it comes out.
