though I didn't enjoy the obvious link of that scene to Gunbuster, already it seems to somehow try to shoehorn links to Gunbuster but the shows are so different that it doesn't help it at all, another was with this.

Now having said that, this show is very stylish something that I like a lot excessive fanservice aside. (actually that's also a plus)

I miss Newtype so much :( Used to buy every issue. I can only think of all the amazing stuff in the US magazine version and how all the shows through the years would have brought so much amazing content and pictures.

and the same people who created the E/I edict in that same decade.
and the same folk who are some of the reasons why all the Disney/Nick Tween stars all going crazy.
are all in Washington passing laws named SOPA, PIPA (both failed). CIPSA (not sure yet) questionable issues concerning TSA going after grandmas and kids and the like when we had dudes questioned by outside governments saying they were a problem, and the FBI did nothing.

Gunbuster's fanservice was somewhat more subdued, Diebuster draws attention to it constantly, though I don't have a problem with it. *insert extoller's classy lady remark*

Also I am watching it that way exactly, but the show doesn't like to make that easy constantly reminding the connection to Gunbuster that I think hurts it somewhat. That said, what it actually does is good thus far. Just that it would have been better if they didn't play on Gunbuster nostalgia.

Greenhill getting angry is the sexiest scene so far in this series.
I don't know, but this whole plan to arouse anti-Imperial frenzy doesn't sound too good. Lennenkanpt needs to be really careful or he'll play out his hand.
Merkatz and his gang reminds me of the Merry Men in Robin Hood. To be honest, I'm not sure why Merkatz is in this fight anymore. The Goldenbaum Dynasty is finished. And he's definitely not a republican. Is it just loyalty towards Yang as a person that drives him now?

Well, the timeline of events that dangerously spiraled into what we got commenced a couple of weeks earlier than the airing of episode 4, and taking into account Mr. Akai's background, I always saw his comments as snide remarks among equals taken a little out of context. But yeah, it seems things got carried away after that.

Takami Akai said he was tired of all that even before the series emission commenced, and the funny thing is all that facade of an outing made to placate the angry reactions could be seen as some kind of vacations for him, because he returned shortly after to his ways at the studio and is now practically more involved than ever with GAiNAX, Yonago City (http://ameblo.jp/yonago-negiman/), and overall reliving the GENERAL PRODUCTS (http://general-products.net/shop/) legacy at his own birthplace.

Saori's past didn't interest me much but damn was that Saori's older sister mean. Lol guys getting married bye......who does that. Whats weird is that this episode implies that Kyousuke is an otaku too. I thought he was only playing those games to get to know his sis but maybe he has taken a liking to the hobby too?

It seems this season is more focused on other characters unlike season 1 which imo focused mainly on Kyousuke and Kirino.

I'd just like to say that console war anime (Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de) was a big disappointment. Had such potential. Was looking forward to a show by Sega fanboys trying to relive the glory days but all we got was a load of twoddle.

The big reason being the two sides "Sega" and "Nintendo" didn't even meet. Yeah, I get it was meant to try and make you buy the manga I guess, but even there is fails.

Lol that was only
his reason to be introduced to that world. Kyousuke has no problem to play those games , watch those anime or last episode getting invested during some time. He is just not hardcore yet.

I think it works pretty well.
