Her introduction into the show was boring. Separated from waifu wars, it was the longest duration of the show that I didn't laugh for. I hope they do something better with her.

This is very similar to Gunbuster 01 in many ways in how it played out which I suppose is expected since Gunbuster was sort of paying homage to it. Style it is often just Dezaki being Dezaki. Which of course is not really ever a bad thing. This show basically has everything you'd expect from aDezaki 70s shoujo show, the senpai, the main character with hidden talent, the coachi/love interest and roses. Lots of roses. You say it gurl. Coachi's a dickhead. I kinda like this shot.

Each week I just have less and less to say. Three of the Four kings were alright, with Hyperion and Titan being the best designed. I just hope they dont push them off to being relevant to the plot 25+ episodes from now instead of the here and now.

There still is a bit where he's going through the giant.
Edit:Maybe not, hard to make out from quality of gif. It's possible the colors being the same give that impression of clipping when it's not.

I thought you had seen Sailor Moon before. Have you really not seen it before or have you and this would be a re-watch? Maybe I'm thinking of the live action show and that's why I thought you had seen it before if you haven't.

Actually now that I think about, Alsiel should just pair up with Maou, then Neighbor-chan and Chi can comfort each other over their lost love, and realize that women are better anyway. And Emi can pair up with Co-worker-san or just go back to Enta Isla or whatever, who cares about her?

I was kinda wondered how they were gonna work towards "Love that can never be ending" as I was watching the earlier parts of the city. I mean, you couldn't have it match the source material's end with the dual suicide of our two young lovers, because there aren't two houses to unite in this adaptation.

The whole "Juliet is a sacrifice for the floating continent" twist to cause it rather generic honestly, but I guess it can work. We'll see.

From what they showed in the credits/OP, it looks like we have a number of female villains that will be showing up, which is great! Though it looks like Touma will have a somewhat larger presence in this season than he had in the last.

Marie Antoinette's laugh is stupid and annoying. Its obvious that sue doesn't give two shits about her finance and has total yuri eyes for Oscar. I would too. Her fiancee is a loser who hides behind people, while Oscar is brave, strong, valiant, and beautiful.
Why is everybody's teeth so prominent? It makes them look rather derp at times.

So it starts with Mechas, but it crash lands on our planet basically. Although the limited view of the design gives me a ship feeling instead of being completely natural land of sorts.
This could have some interesting world development (it should have some, it doesn't have much room to wiggle around in.) But it seems interesting so far.

I used to watch Sailor Moon way back when it was on Toonami but I'm sure I haven't seen all of the episodes. It'd be nice to watch it in its entirety.

Plotwise the episode was odd, eight episodes to arrive at that which was revealed in the OP of episode 1 and that which is in the ED each week...Though I guess, I and others arent actually watching this for plot so it was pretty insignificant.
Resort had many great moments, and Ittoki, Syo always had the best shots.
